What happens if you have a bikini bridge AND a thigh gap?

the award for the MFP person who will get body shamed the most.

Add muscles and you've got the trifecta.

bikini bridge probably my biggest criterion for determining when i'm too far underweight. my challenge is building up, not burning down.

bb when lying down? check. that's ok. can't help it.
bb when standing? nope, not today. i've got my convex right where i like it.
thigh gap? check. my thighs have gotten bigger and tighter (muscles) over the last year, and the gap's gotten wider.
hip bones sticking out? yes, just barely, through the muscle.

i don't mind my hip bones sticking out (anymore) because there's visible muscle around them now. and i don't mind my ribs showing (anymore) because the rib meat shows even more. i don't think i look ED, sick, or neglected. but what do i know...

OOO, you in trouble now! One of those MFP ladies is going to put on Space diapers and drive all the way to you and force feed you to "help" you! I recommend moving for having the trifecta of targeted body shaming criteria.

    What's a bikini bridge?

The gap created by a bikini being stretched between hip bones. The bikini doesn't rest on the stomach i.e. Pic above

AKA The new Thigh Gap

DAMN IT! I just heard about thigh gap. Now I have to worry about bridges over my pelvic area too!? :noway:

    Your body is a wonderland!

I was thinking more a Disneyland.
    buying a ticket

We should sit in the front seats of the ride, I hear that is were you get the best splash!

I don't know about mank32, but I'm okay with people feeding me, as long as they're buying.

Women have been posting shots like this on Facebook for years. Someone finally just put a name to it.

And yes, original pic looks good.

That's disgusting! Ladies NEED curves; men LOVE curves. The end !

Oh please, tell us more about what us men love or what we should love.

    :grumble:

1.) Curves and this trait are not mutually exclusive.

2.) You can't speak for all men with one blanket statement. My husband loves the way I look. Even if it were true that ALL men LOVE curves, are we all supposed to base our bodies off of what men want?

3.) calling other women disgusting is not cool. It may not be your preference and that's fine, but "disgusting" is unnecessary and insulting.

Thank God not ALL men think that way or I'd be screwed... or, not screwed.... :noway:

ETA: a woman can have curves and still have the bikini bridge.

Looks like it's a hoax that will probably have bad consequences for people who take it seriously:

  • If I see a woman in a bikini, I am just grateful that I am seeing a woman in a bikini. I could care less if she has a bikini-bridge. But if the bikini-bridge controversy means I get to see more pictures of women in their bikinis, then I applaud the concept!

    To each his/her own....

I'm a fan of a lady with curves.

I'm giving thanks for ladies with "all the rights curves" :)

Define "curves"... lumps and rolls are not curves.

Yeah, big hips = "curves", big hips = big hip bones = might stick out when you lay down.

Yeah, big hips = "curves", big hips = big hip bones = might stick out when you lay down.

So big hips are hot unless they stick out when you lie down, in which case they're disgusting? This is getting too complicated for me.
