My two favorite recipes with tuna:

Tuna salad made with Greek yogurt instead of mayo! Just mix 2tbsp Greek yogurt with a can of tuna, and sometimes I like to add celery or scallion onions to it too! Goes well with carrots and hummus on the side :)

Salad with spinach, avocado, feta cheese, sliced tomato, and a can of plain tuna mixed in. I bring this one to work a lot!

    Tuna Cakes!!!

    *Altered from a Kraft recipe.

    2 cans tuna, drained,
(6 oz.) Stuffing Mix (I use low sodium Stove-Top)
    1 cup Shredded Low-Moisture Part-Skim Mozzarella Cheese
    3/4 cup water
    2 green onions, sliced
    1/3 cup light Mayo
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice

Mix all together and shape into patties (makes about 12). Leave in the fridge for at least 30 min. Heat a prying pan to medium heat, cook patties a few at a time for about 6-10 minutes - turn after 3-4 minutes, until golden brown.

    Soooooo yummy!

Seedy brown bread. Toasted. Mash up the tuna with avocado and some seasoning. Enjoy.

Salsa as a replacement for mayo.

Yum and much lower in fat and calories. It's the only way I eat it now, mixed in a bowl. Sometimes I even add in a little lettuce to keep things interesting :)

I put half a can of tuna with 2 Tablespoons of plain Greek yogurt on a bunch of lettuce... sometimes I add a cracker or two for extra crunch... There's flavoured tunas too, have you tried them? I like the spicy Thai one..there's small and so you can eat the whole can.

Right. I'm a weirdo and maybe I've posted this before but I can't remember. Here's how I eat my tuna:

First, I eat mine chilled and for some reason it took me awhile to realize the best way of doing this was to just store the tuna in the fridge. So chilled can of tuna, open it. I don't even drain it. Dump it in a bowl. Cover it with black pepper and cayenne pepper. Eat. It's still only 100 calories so I pair it with a serving of sour cream and onion pringles (110 - 150 calories) to cut the heat. And usually I have a can of coke with it too because I refuse to give up coke like ever, lol.

Traders Joe's has wasabi flavored roasted seaweed. I mix tuna with mayo and wrap the seaweed around it. It tastes a little bit like sushi.

    I've made this before:
Chop up a tomato and saute it with a little bit of garlic (and perhaps some chopped onion or other veggies) in a skillet with a little olive oil. Let the tomatoes get nice and soft. Add a little fat-free italian dressing while it is sautéing for a little bit of flavor. RIght at the end, add the can of tuna (drained) and mix together.

Throw this over some whole-wheat pasta and top with a light sprinkle of parmesan. Yum!

When I have cooked this, I found that the tuna loses most of the fishy flavor and picks up more of the other flavors instead.

Yum! Definitely going to try - I do NOT like that "fishy flavor"!
