    (re) started my cycling to work mid last year and managed between June and December nearly 1500miles, going to go for more than 2000 this year which will hopefully be a decent target to set as i was averaging 250 miles per month.

    I have not been biking as exercise until buying my stationary bike so my numbers are going to be low for now. I live in Colorado where people are out biking all of the time but I'm not confident to be out on the roads yet. When spring comes I hope to be able to get out on in the parks and ride.

    How are all of you tracking your miles outdoors? Are you using a specific phone app or a GPS?

    I'm in NoCo and I feel your pain. It's just way too windy to be out on the road, and not getting home until after 5 means dark bike, which I am just not at all comfortable with. I stick to the group cycle class or solo on a spin bike at the rec center.

    I use mapmyride to log my rides. I haven't done the GPS thing yet, but I do map my routes and follow others for something new. I have a few friends that really like Strava.

    I am back after a 4 month long break. Got my first ride in a long time today and it felt pretty good. I am restarting my goal of biking the distance between my house in MA and my parents house in FL (for some reason my ticker refuses to work from the fall so I basically had no choice but to start over, lol)

    I am setting a very low goal for January just to get back into the swing of things and also because and I am trying a lot of other new workouts and don't want to get burned out too quickly.

    January goal: 70 miles all stationary
