I use a combination of Nitromors and wire wool. Lovely results.0

Oh, you know the laser hair removal? That probably would work too! And if you're a stripper it'd be feasible since that's like a work expense, right?0

Some women just have really thin hair and so there is never a 'stubble' feeling, even as it grows back in. I have this, and while it makes for some nice smooth legs, the hair on my head goes limp and lifeless about 5 minutes after styling and hairspray.
Ugh, story of my life. My kingdom for a truly volumizing shampoo!
I'm not a stripper but have been, variously, a bellydancer, a figure skater, and a gymnast, and I'm quite fond of my wet/dry epilator. You can use it with shaving cream/conditioner/baby oil gel, which helps prevent the usual epilator bumps that come from violently ripping hair out of your skin. And then follow with body oil and/or lotion (but only do both if you've got time for them to dry properly, otherwise you will feel like a giant ball of slime; I speak from experience).0 -
I use conditioner to shave and baby oil gel after getting out of the shower. I still have to shave often but my legs are super smooth and soft
That is EXACTLY what I do. I found conditioner to be a great shave tool!0 -
no idea i never shave/wax
anywhere?0 -
I just shave. I've never had really bad stubble. Summer time I shave every day and in the winter I can go 2 days before I feel like I need to shave.0

just to throw my two cents in here. I know some girls who did the sugaring thing. They said it hurts like a b!tch so... be warned. Consider your pain tolerance.
And music is my aeroplane!
I go for daily body brushing, shaving followed by moisturizer. The body brushing and moisturizer help prevent ingrowns too.0 -
in.
I'm a conditioner + coconut oil woman m'self.0 -
SOOOOOOOOOOOOO not what I was hoping for out of this thread.

Laser hair removal could be used in Gitmo for torture. I did all six sessions. Agony. But effective.0 -
Blowtorch. Singe them off.0

I could use a touch up. It's been about four years. I wouldn't end to do all six sessions again. I keep putting it off though. It really doesn't feel good.0

Not a Male Stripper but I do shave occasionally (pretty common for gym rats)... Best results are After I shower using conditioner mixed with my body wash. Same with face.0

In my humble experience women who don't shave are awesome human beings. They know themselves, like themselves, and are crazy comfortable in their own skin. Three thumbs up from this corner of the room.0 -
I um.... knew a stripper for a while back in my single days. Her skin was freakishly smooth. She always used hair conditioner to shave rather than shaving cream or soap. She said it eliminated all the bumps. I'm not if that was the whole trick as silky smooth seems to be a bit more than bump-free, but on the bump angle she used normal conditioner that you would use on your hair.0

this is all quite fascinating.0

Many places have Groupon and Living Social deals. That being said, your description in your OP sounds like me... and two rounds of laser did nothing for me. Neither did sugaring.
Or waxing...0 -
Use a new razor every time. Your razor is too dull. Use the 3 blade or higher non-disposables. I learned that from a strippers. I'm not one myself of course.0
-
I use sugar body scrub. You can buy it anywhere, but I make my own. It makes my skin so soft!0
-
Not a dancer by any stretch of the imagination, but I am good friends with one. She says that a lot of the girls go through and get sugaring done (which apparently isn't as harsh as waxing. *shrugs*).
She said with time and doing it often enough eventually the hair gets so fine that it is as soft as a baby's bottom when it grows in... but it takes time. She also said that lotion is your best friend as it helps with the smoothness of her skin.
^this^
Not a stripper but I use sugaring. Work as above :flowerforyou:0
