3500 + calories burned challenge (Thanksgiving addition).

Back by popular demand is the burn 3500 calories in a week challenge. 3500 calories was picked as the minimum calories burned since that equals 1 lb. Try to log how many calories you burned each day and how you did it. Otherwise this is a pretty loose challenge and anyone can join at any time.
Good luck logging all your exercise through the holiday. This is going to be really hard for me since I will not be at home.

I'm in! This was a great challenge last week, because it really spurred me on to lengthen my morning work-outs! I'm getting up earlier, and added 30 - 60 minutes more each day....
Will we check in here each day or not until next Sunday?0 -
Same way as last challenge. If you want to log it everyday please do, if not people can log it at the end of the week.0

W00T! Ready to roll....out of bed....not quite yet...LOL! I keep holding out hope that I will still burn some remaining calories for last weeks. But the sane part of me keeps thinking "Tara, take it easy and start fresh tomorrow for next week!"

For the new people here is an example of how we posted it last week. Updated it every day.
Mon: 570
Tues: 887 (hour with my trainer and hour watching glee on the treadmill and eliptical)
Wed: 624 (half hour treadmill half hour eliptical)
Thur: 0 (today is my day off from the gym since I need to go to the store and make cranberry salsa for the potluck tomorrow)
Friday 723 (half hour with trainer and hour of eliptical)
Sat 270 (so far half hour on eliptical) will try to get in some more forgot my headphones so got bored fast!
Sun 454 (45 mins on eliptical)
Total so far: 3528 (made it barely)0 -
I'm game!! Gym, look out, here I come!0

Sunday 11/22
Burned 233 calories on the treadmill, just easy walking.
Spent the morning in Labor and Delivery so took it easy today.
3267 calories and 6 days left.0 -

I've never done this, either, but I'm in! We are going to Disneyland on Tuesday, but will be back on Friday. I will bring pen and paper to keep track of my burns while I'm away.0

I'm So In! This will be my first challenge since I just started my weight loss and will keep me motivated. Awesome idea! Let's do it!0

Here we goooooo! Last week was great and I am ready for this week. I can't believe I have actually been motivated enough to get up earlier this past week so that I can get a good burn in before the day begins. Other than burning at least 3,500 calories my other goal is to at least maintain and NOT gain this week.

I'm in again. Kept me working hard last week and I've entered some of my Thanksgiving recipes in the recipe calculator to get an idea OMG:noway: :noway: I really need this more than last week!
