 For Fun: What has been the most interesting part of the weather for you and how does it affect your ability to exercise?
 It's been so cold, I don't want to get out of bed until I absolutely have to and sometimes that is close to lunchtime. Isn't that terrible. I can totally do without winter anymore,0

            I'm told by my personal trainer that my exercise is not the problem, but it is what I eat. I eat well most of each day except Sunday. I am eliminating the bad snacks and planning to get in enough protein to keep the hunger down. This should be easy, February is only 28 days. I tell myself that I can do anything for 28 days. So far, day 1 has been good but then again, I have only had 2 meals and 1 snack. Looking for this to help me stay focused.
 Since it has been so cold here I have not been running outside. I may stay on the treadmill until March. It has also been too cold to take my dogs for their daily walk. They are happy with that as they don't like their feet cold or wet. I have ordered boots for them, so once they are delivered, we will be back to the walks.

            My 2014 mantra is consistency. I lose it slowly & have low metabolic rate. Good Nutrition is the foundation!
 If I go off nutrition 1x or 2x it’s ok. But if that becomes 3-4-5x then I’ll start to gain weight. I need to exercise regularly, too, else I’ll just maintain.

 Cold: Enjoy walking outdoors and recreational bicycling ( not a core cyclist). In frigid weather, or lots of snow & ice, I do neither
 as I need a smooth surface for my balance.
 I prefer natural cardio fitness over machines but have learned to like the Eliptical enough to accommodate my knee and ankle joints. I am a former runner and sports athlete who slowly learned to adapt to new activities to enjoy life!

 It's summer for me which is nicer than snow but the heat can be unbearable to go outside. I'll sweat even on a light walk!0

 I will be visiting friends and relatives for two weeks in February in Ireland and during that time, it is a lot of eating and drinking with no exercise. I am trying to come up with a game plan to keep the eating and drinking in check while still having fun and minimize the gain while I am gone. Suggestions are appreciated!!0

            Hi everyone, I'm new to this, so i hope I'm posting in the right place 
 I've had my fitness pal for 2 months and lost 2lbs.
 I'm 24, 5"1" and 147 lbs I'm trying to lose 15lbs.
 I eat between 1200 and 1400 per day and burn around 150 calories a day with exercise but nothing is happening! I know I probably need to up the exercise but I would love some advice on what I'm doing wrong as I'm a complete novice thanks!0
