Do you sleep in a bra?? (WOMEN ONLY)

Recently I started sleeping in my bra. This is the only way my boobs are comfortable now.
A little about myself. I'm 28 and a 34D. I had breast augmentation almost 10 years ago. Now that I have lost so much of my natural breast tissue. I seem to need extra support for the implant. Maybe I need stronger pec muscles? I used to be a part time bra wearer. Never had one on at home or just a tank top with the built in bra. So I'm having mixed feelings about feeling the need to always wear one.
So ladies, do you wear a bra to bed?
Age and bra size please. Just because I'm curious.

Oh gosh, no. Honestly, unless I'm out in public, I HATE wearing a bra. I take that silly thing off once I'm home and let my ladies breathe.
Age: 22

I sleep in a bra. I like them to feel secured and not bouncing or rolling around. I'm 28 and a 36 B, almost a C.0

I have always slept in a bra....36C. I hate the feeling without it. Plus I think it has helped keep them perky as well. Mine are way better after having two kids than some people who haven't had any. I think it helps!0

As you get older, the ladies get droopier. I would also say if your that uncomfortable already, I would talk to your Dr about it. the weight loss is one factor, your only 28, when you get to 47 or after a baby, the tissue gets even less supportive. there are some camps that say wearing a bra all the time will keep them perky, beats me.
I am 47yo, 34B (didn't even get to a C cup when pregnant) I take off the bra as soon as possible. I often wear sports bras around the house cleaning and stuff, but in certain clothes I can still get away with NO bra. Being small has its advantages (FYI, I could workout without a bra until I was 20yo)0 -
31 yrs old 36DD or maybe closer to D now since they are getting smaller with weight loss. No, I never have never will wear a bra to bed. That would be SOOO uncomfortable.0

No. 30F.
If you're not feeling like you have enough support:
a.) perhaps there's something at play with your implants.
b.) perhaps you do need to strengthen your pecs, lats, etc.
c.) you're in the wrong bra size.

38yo. Bra size 36H bordering on 34J (that's 36G in American sizing). No, I don't wear a bra to bed - it would compact the girls too much and make me feel as if I'm sleeping on rocks (I sleep on my front.)0

37, 34DD or 34D (depending on brand).
My bra is only on when I leave the house or have company (and sometimes not even then). Mine are not implants, though.0 -
let my ladies breathe.

I agree....let them breathe.0 -
No. I only wear a sports bra if I'm going to be doing some sort of moderate/heavy activity. I don't even wear them when I'm just out shopping or whatever around town. I only wear sports bras.
ETA: I have no idea what size I am since I don't wear regular bras. The last time I did (many years ago) I was a 38DDDish.0 -
Bras are expensive, and sleeping in them is not good for them.
Plus I don't sleep in anything, it's too restrictive.
41, 32DD.
I just don't see how sleeping in one is going to help much, they're designed to give support against the vertical drag of gravity, and lying down sleeping, changing positions, I don't see what advantage it would give. Not to mention being abrasive against your skin, and underwires can give you pressure ulcers.0 -
32 years old, 36 C, I don't sleep in my bra, I take it off as soon as I get home.0

Hi,
I'm a 10G and I have never slept in a bra. However, my aunties told me recently I should because they think it may prevent gravitational pull. After I have children I think i'll get them done anyway (my size will not look good in another ten years).0 -
NEVER!0

Never! I'm a 36DD and I don't think bras are comfortable to sleep in.0

I remember sleeping in a bra once and my boobs were so painful the next day. I think I heard somewhere its bad for them to sleep in a bra..
Im all natural so maybe its just the implants making you uncomfortable0 -
tight vest top for myself, cant sleep naked!0

i always sleep in a bra . i get a comfy one not the one with the metal braces . my doctor says its best to do so aswell0
-

NO! Can't wait to take it off when I get home! LOL
Age: 35

I don't wear a real bra to bed, but I wear a very casual (almost loose) sports bra. It helps keep everything in it's place without being restrictive.
Age: 28
Size: 34D0 -
I don't even wear a "real bra" to work. I wear sports bras to work. But we have a pretty relaxed job where it can be jeans and a t shirt everyday. To be, no. I don't wear a bra at all.
Age: 29
Size: 36A0 -
21 34B. Honestly I'm so small, the only time I ever really wear one is when I'm working out in public. I just can't ever find one that is comfortable enough to wear for hours at a time0
-
I usually have on a sports bra, or a tight tank top. I also like those little lace cami top things that aren't real bras, but keep everything in place.0
-
yes i do ............
BAHAHAHAH0 -

What is your doctor's reasoning? As mccindy said, sleeping in a bra is bad for the bra (you shouldn't even wear a bra more than a day in a row, let alone putting further pressure my sleeping on it/rolling around in it... giggity). In terms of health... what? If someone had very large breasts that maybe chafed/accumulated sweat and such underneath the breast, I could perhaps see the need to wear a bra even at night...
But why would a doctor recommend it for anything other than that? I'm trying to fathom a medical reason (outside of perhaps any issues with breast cancer, polyps, etc.).0 -
I only sleep in a bra if I'm at my mother's house or the ski house which is full of dudes I don't know.
When I'm at home, eff that noise.
Let them be freeeeeeeeeee!
24, 34/36c (I dont remember lol)0 -
I tried it for a while but unless I'm wearing an "un-bra" (Bali Comfort Revolution, wirefree) I can't even take a nap with one on, although the BCR might work if I really had to. I sleep with a king-sized pillow as a knee pillow and it's long enough that I developed a habit long ago of wedging it between my boobs so it seems to have kept the side-sleeper wrinkles from developing and might have helped prevent sag too. I'm a 36D now. I'm 47 but am assured by my husband that my tatas are in fine form for a woman my age.
I'm one of those that shucks off a bra through my sleeves shortly after dinner. Zooey Deschanel called wearing a bra "boob jail" on an episode of New Girl once, and I agree. I have the Bali Comfort Revolution now in underwire (low security boob jail) and wirefree (minimum security boob jail), and I rarely go back to even the pretty comfortable Balis I used to wear before. I do try to wear at least an un-bra during the day even if I don't have to, though.0 -
yea sorry for the lack of information , well i had implants 2 years ago and my surgeon said its best to wear a bra when sleeping to keep the good shape and avoid straining on the boobs and he didn't mean for just after the operation0
-
HELL TO THE NO. as lishiefruit said, LET THEM BE FREE. i absolutely need to wear a bra when i'm out and about (i get fitted at a european store as a 34F). when i'm at home, i wear a lounge bra....and then when i sleep, it all comes off0
