New Year Challenge!

I have a new phone (blackberry) and I am unable to find this application on there unlike my old phone. Anyone have a blackberry w/myfitness.pal on there? If so send me a message. The one application I did find was fatsecret. I just need one I can add food as I'm eating etc. So, if blackberry doesn't have this application I will no longer be checking in. This is one reason I haven't been on here since my new phone.
Thanks for any messages/ideas!0 -
I'm in! Haven't been on this site very long, just started dieting again, still trying to find more motivation so this sounds great!

Good afternoon all! Today was my designated cardio day so I completed the Plyometrics dvd from the P90X program. Awesome Burn and I'm sure my quads and hamstrings will be mad at me tomorrow.0

Okay, I am having a bummer week. My child is home sick so no going to the gym. I did play soccer last night but unfortunately messed my knee up so now am unable to run for a while. Not sure when I will get to weigh in so will just skip this week and hopefully be back next week.
Have a good one!0 -

Yesterday was a busy day so I only had enough time to log on and log my exercise but I completed the Burn Circuit 2 and Extreme Abs dvds from the Chalean Extreme program. Since today is my designated cardio workout I completed the Billy Blank's Cardio Boot Camp dvd.
I haven't been posting my weight lately but wanted you all to know that it is still maintaining at 124 lbs. While 120-125 lbs is my goal weight area I would prefer for it to be at the lower end. I'm going to try to get rid of this last 2 lbs but in all honesty my focus is on reducing body fat %. I think I have pretty much got my eating back on track (although tomorrow is my designated splurge day).0 -
Happy Friday everyone! Today has been absolutely wonderful. It was our unit Christmas luncheon and we played a game called "Dirty Santa" and it was a blast. Since our luncheon was held at a restaurant called Pappadeux I made today's workout cardio instead of the scheduled strength training. So, today I completed the Burn Intervals dvd from the Chalean Extreme program and Core-week 1 dvd from the Kettleworx series.0

I think we should continue this after we are done with the last weigh in for the year. This is so motivating!0

Good afternoon everyone! I had a wonderful night babysitting 3 children, aged 5, 8 and 12. My friend and her husband asked me to watch the children so they could attend a birthday celebration so I decided to stay at their home. We played Uno attack and then sang and dance all night. The youngest finally went to sleep at 12:30 am and the other two stayed up until their parents arrived home which was about 1:30/1:45 am. The adults stayed up talking until about 3 am. Since I had exercise boot camp this morning I was unable to sleep in. I had to be up at 6:30 am, out the door by 7:30 am in order to arrive at boot camp by 8:30 am. As always, boot camp did not disappoint. We completed upper body (shoulder presses, arm circles, push ups etc), lower body (squats, lunges, calf raises etc) and ab (bicycles, toe touches crunches etc) circuits. EXCELLENT WORKOUT! After boot camp I headed to the local gym and completed 35 minutes on the elliptical.
Once the workout was completed I was able to get in a little bit of grocery shopping and bought lunch. I have now showered and eaten and am about to relax for the remainder of the day.0 -
So any thoughts about the next challenge? Like one til Memorial Day?0

Sounds good to me, gonna need to motivation after the holidays. Scale seems to be going up instead of down and my husband is starting to bake cookies now!0 -
I think thats a great idea!0

Today I completed the Stretch X dvd from the P90X series. My body really needed today's stretch because it was extremely tight.
We did Memorial Day challenge this year so there's no reason why we couldn't do it again.0 -

I know I already posted, but I'm updating my goal to 193.9 which would be 3.5lbs away and exactly 50lbs lost since April..I've been really stuck for the past few months, slowed way down so I'm hoping that 3.5lbs in 2weeks is doable. I hope.

I am actually thrilled that I did not go up in weight after the horrible week I had last week with sick child and no gym time and hurt knee (actually ended being my shin and a really painful bruise). Back to running this week though, YEAH!0 -
Well, I got in my first gym experience tonight, oddly enough, with an ex from highschool (we are still friends, as is my hubby with him so it's all good...) I did 37min on the tread.. I'm such a noob b/c I paused it on accident after my first 7min... I stayed at 4mph almost the whole time, briefly at 5.1 and as low as 3.5. We then hit the elliptical for 15min and I thought it would be the death of me..lol, but I pushed through it!! I have a free 7 day pass and I hope that in the new year I can get an actual membership. I loved the gym and I wish I had started this back in Sept!! Plus I know many people that go there which is pretty cool too My legs will be on fire tomorrow.. I love it!! Off to finish my water then head to bed, night all!!0

Good morning everyone! Despite TOM being in full effect and only getting about 4 hours of sleep I woke up with a lot of energy. I knocked out a couple of errands before getting the workout in but when it was time to push play I dug deeper and ROCKED IT OUT! Today I completed the Core Cardio & Balance dvd from the Insanity program AND the Fat Blaster dvd from the Chalean Extreme program. I had not completed an Insanity workout in a couple of months so I decided to throw in my favorite. The Core Cardio dvd is a great full body workout (switch kicks, squats, power jacks, push ups, burpees, plank walks, jabs etc) but I think I like it best because it does not repeat the exercises over and over like the other Insanity workouts. Once the workout was complete I had a nice hearty bowl of oatmeal w/protein powder and a small banana0
