Cooked peas - I dislike the mushy texture. However, I like them raw fresh from the garden.
Lima beans - Again, the mushy, mealy texture... *shivers in disgust* Plus the fact I was forced to eat them as a child.
Refried beans - Bleh! It's the texture thing again.
Kidney beans - Ditto. Always pick them out of my chili.
    Sweet potatoes
    Avocados
Raw onions - I adore them grilled until they're caramelized though, delicious on a burger or with a steak. Breaded onion rings are yummers too!
Raw tomatoes - with exception of grape tomatoes, I can tolerate those in a salad... sparingly. I like them cooked in sauces or salsa though.
Almond milk - Tried it. No thanks. Tastes like slightly flavored water to me. I'd rather have the 'hard' stuff, 2% cow's milk! Yum!
Oatmeal - As a child, my Mother made this for my sister and I for breakfast EVERY morning in the Winter time. She dressed it up with all kinds of different things (maple syrup, honey, peaches, cream, berries, raisins, applesauce, jam, chocolate syrup, etc.) and I loved it then, ate it willingly. But now the thought of eating it makes me gag. Just had TOO much of it in my life.

Not sure this counts as a healthy food (or even a food). Broad Beans - eewwwwww

I like everything mentioned except diet Pepsi, which isn't really a health food. I don't like anything diet or lowfat. It all tastes like metal to me and makes me bloat. I'd rather have the full fat option and eat it less often and in smaller quantities. I don't really hate any health food, although I don't understand the love people have for Greek yogurt. It's just ok.

I can't stand any kinds of fish.

Most of the food already mentioned is super delicious IMO. I think I just love all food. The only things I don't love are eggplant and courgette when they're soggy-cooked instead of crispy-cooked. I also don't love celery. You can't even make it taste good with peanut butter. But everything else just GIVE ME MOAR!!!

Cooked celery - raw is fine, in small doses
    Cauliflower, in any form
Internal organs, unless turned into haggis
Walnuts - nasty, bitter taste. Not overly keen on brazil nuts, either
Tinned fish - fresh is fine
    Scallop roe
Non-dairy milk of all sorts - they all taste powdery to me
Tofu, unless chopped very small, mixed in with lots of high-flavour ingredients/covered in some sort of sauce
Taramasalata - I just can't find a way to like that stuff.

Kale...if cooked well, with lots of other flavours, I don't hate it. Raw, or in 'crisp' form...bleurgh!

I happily eat most things, but I'm afraid I'm another kale hater. I've tried to like it but it's just nasty!
All other greens are great so I have no idea why I find kale so repellant.

Cottage cheese. I have tried SO hard to like this because of the amount of protein but I can't get past the texture. Ick.

The only way I can eat it is on crackers/crispbreads, with fresh sliced tomato and plenty of salt & pepper. Any other way, I very much agree with you.

I hate all vegetables other than sweetcorn and peas.
  • I agree with celery, it's so bitter >.>

Buckwheat. It smells like puke and no matter how you spice it and what you add, it's just vile. So many people like this thing. Can't stand it!

Also chestnuts: everyone loves this thing. It's low calorie and I guess it's healthy, but this warm sweetness is just horrible and disgusting.

Peanut butter. And nuts in general. Cannot stand the taste or texture.

Anything that's had the fat stripped out to make it 'healthy'. That also takes all the taste and interest out of it. (And then the manufacturers add sugar, as insult to injury! )

I'm also with Seltzermint on a certain type of salad that was touted 'back in day'. To this day I cannot eat iceberg lettuce, tomato and cucumber together. *blech*

Cauliflower tastes like someone attacked a poor, innocent broccoli stalk with bleach, to me.

Brussels sprouts taste exactly like they smell. This is not a good thing.

Avocado, Cauliflower, beets, brussell sprouts.. and Kale.. Kale isn't food. It's what you use to decorate food.

    edited because I can't spell.
  • Raw carrots and Celery.. the smell of celery makes me gag >.<

When it comes to bread, I will choose anything but the almighty whole wheat.

    Quinoa can suck it, too.

Black beans! Why do people insist on having them in so many dishes? Kale is gross in the wrong way, salads are hard for me to eat unless I cover it with meat with flavouring like my famous lemon chicken salad. I hate barley, chia seeds, carob, brussel sprouts, cauliflower, yams, avocado by itself, coriander (or cilantro) in too bigger amounts, onions or any kind, radishes, quinoa by itself tomatos give me a sore mouth, I am fussy with eggplant, I hate kumara (comes from my country sort of like sweet potato but its not)...there are so many things!

I hate light dressings, especially ranch. I'd actually rather eat the salad plain if the only option is light ranch.

Kale. Just can't do it. Also every dried fruit. Ewww. There was nothing wrong with those beautiful grapes, why petrify them into yucky raisins...

Celery tried it yesterday after 10 plus years of staying away from it cant stand the stringiness at all and tastes like air

    Avocado
    Celery

ETA: forgot the almighty mushrooms. Look and texture is awful. Especially mushroom soup - looks like the cockroach smoothie on I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here (UK TV show)
  • Don't like okra, eggplant, raw celery, rice cakes, if you consider rice cakes healthy, and seaweed. But I absolutely LOVE raw kale. I eat it raw in my salads almost everyday, but I can understand why many don't like it. It doesn't have the same taste as other greens.

I used to hate Greek yogurt, but have gound one by Rowanglen that has a layer of strawberry compote on the bottom and I could live on the stuff.
Don't like hummus or cous cous (texture more than taste).

kale is digusting- how they can even sell it as food I have no idea.

I LOVE Kale!! It took some getting used to but certain ways it totally takes the bitterness out.

Raw celery, wish I could like it. It has a horrible aftertaste, not to mention the watery texture.

I'm working on quinoa but the texture is so off-putting.

    Grapefruit.

It reminds me too much of the taste in my mouth right before I puke.
(To those who worry- I've suffered from migraines and sometime those ended in nausea. Luckily good nutrition solved that.)
