The Dark Tower series by Stephen King. NOT the usual horror Steven King - an epic Western/Fantasy 7-book series. I am NOT a King fan, but I LOVE these books!

Oddly enough that's how my dad is. He's not a fan of King but he's been burning through the series like it's nothing which is odd for him. We got them all for him at christmas.

Just finished Sycamore Row, by John Grisham. It was pretty good.

Started reading Rare and Precious Things (The Blackstone Affair), by Raine Miller today. It's basically romantic porn, but sometimes that is just what the doctor ordered :blushing:

A History of Iran: Empire of the Mind - Michael Axworthy.

Everyone kills everybody else (lots of assassinations in early times so someone's son or nephew can rule, or to get rid of crazy rulers, on and on). I had just finished reading "Reading Lolita in Tehran" by Azar Nafisi and, while I've taken a history class on the Middle East we kinda just zipped through Iran's history, so I wanted to know more about it all since it's still very much so on the world stage these days.
