Oddly enough that's how my dad is. He's not a fan of King but he's been burning through the series like it's nothing which is odd for him. We got them all for him at christmas.0 -

A History of Iran: Empire of the Mind - Michael Axworthy.
Everyone kills everybody else (lots of assassinations in early times so someone's son or nephew can rule, or to get rid of crazy rulers, on and on). I had just finished reading "Reading Lolita in Tehran" by Azar Nafisi and, while I've taken a history class on the Middle East we kinda just zipped through Iran's history, so I wanted to know more about it all since it's still very much so on the world stage these days.0
