    Beets…taste
Guacamole looks too much like baby food and is too bland. I’ve never been able to bring myself to try just plain avocado as a result.
    Eggplant..taste
    Spaghetti squash..taste and texture
Cucumbers..only exception is pickles and diced superfine in Tzatziki sauce
    Millett/Durian/Broad Beans/Courgette/Boca burgers/Porridge/Kumara.. Never tried
    Lima beans..don’t like the texture
    Sour cream..I’ll pass.
    Grapefruit..the taste.

And this thread just made me crave some chicken liver 
  • absolutely hate lettuce.

I think if it was a matter of dying or eating lettuce, I'd rather die than eat it.

Chia seeds. Nasty little black balls of chaff that get stuck in your teeth and taste like s**t.

this. I tried. And tried. And now I have a bag of them.
I baked them into things and it seemed to turn out fine

I LOVE basically any veggie but they have to be raw. Cooked veggies have an awful texture that I can't look past. EW!

I can't stand squash and eggplant.

Tofu is basically just toad food... gross.

    Not fond of Kale either...

Celery seems to be a common one, and I'm gonna have to agree. Even peanut butter doesn't make it better.
    Brussel sprouts
Mushrooms- I'm sorry I just can't get behind the idea of eating a fungus.
Greek yogurt- I just don't like the texture. Instead I stick with low carb and low sugar yogurt that Kroger makes called Carbmaster.

Surprisingly I really like quinoa. I tried it with rosemary and although the texture takes some getting used to, I think I'll eat it instead of rice now.

Oatmeal--I can't get past the texture.

Cottage Cheese--I mean, just look at it.

Soy milk--The smell makes me gag, even if its the flavored kind.

    I hate many things:

    Onions and bell peppers
    Mushrooms
    Cooked spinach
    Cooked tomatoes
    cooked cabbage
    celery
all kind of tea: hot, iced, flavored
    coconut
    watermelon
    sweet potatoes
vinegar/ oil salad dressings. I only like blue cheese dressing.
Oatmeal is nasty but I tolerate it.
Fish except for tilapia and salmon
I have to force myself to eat anything wheat : bread, tortillas, waffles, etc
Anything that says low fat/ diet ... I want full fat or I don't want it at all
I've never tried soy or tofu anything but I doubt I'd like it.

There is probably more but I can't think of anymore.

Eggs! I can sometimes tolerate them, but I can barely eat them more than twice a week. I know they are the premier fitness food, and they are packed with Amino Acids, but I just can't do them. The only time I can really eat them is if I don't taste them, or feel the texture. I like them mostly in protein pancakes.

Pomegranates. I've only had it in chobani yogurt and it has these seeds that I swear feel like you are crunching on beetles. Just creepy and oh god ick.

Fish. I'm so picky on fish and I have to be in the mood for it.

I can't stand the texture of chicken. Just rubbery.

    Egg yokes, yuck.

Edit: actually i forgot we were talking about popular foods, pomegranite probably isn't popular but i'm leaving it for the yuck factor.

Chia seeds. I've been hearing all of this fuss about how healthy they are, so I bought something called chia pods today to try. it was disgusting and slimy! never again. who eats this stuff?

    greek yogurt

YUCK I don't understand the allure of this gunk.. I've tried all different brands and varieties, even used it to make other things like dips or chicken salad.. just no.

ETA: Almond milk. Stop trying to make almond milk happen, it's not going to happen. (Mean Girls reference)
  • Mushrooms
    Tomatoes
    Salsa
    Avocados
    Bananas

I wished I liked these but I can't choke them down.

I think the only healthy food I dislike is cooked salmon. It's odd, because I love raw salmon sashimi and smoked salmon, but once it's cooked it has this unappealing, overly fishy taste to me. I have tried it several times, even at very high end restaurants, so I know it's the cooked fish itself I dislike and not the way it's prepared.

Oddly enough, all of the other foods I really dislike are either fast foods (McDonald's being the worst of these, as their food for what ever reason makes me very ill), or flavours/dressings (I can't stand ranch dressing or honey mustard). I also can't stand ham, but I'm not sure if that's a particularly healthy food or not. Something about the processed texture of it gives me the heebie-jeebies and reminds me of Spam.

What's with all the kale hate? I love kale. It's great in ramen soups, or any kind of spicy broth/oil. Freshly made kale chips (don't buy the packaged crap) are very good as well, with this kind of melt in your mouth crunchy deliciousness. If you've only ever tried kale raw, I suggest cooking with it as it takes on a completely different flavour altogether. There are vegetables that aren't commonly eaten raw (think potatoes) so just think of kale as one of them (though they're great in smoothies and properly prepared salads, but that may not be for everyone). I also love mushrooms (I put mushrooms and spinach on everything) and every other vegetable mentioned, but, to be fair, I think I love every vegetable.

Tofu, seaweed and sushi - no way!
Oh and if I bite into coriander I could kill the person who put it in my food.

Hummus - I've tried, but I just can't do it.
    Avocado
    Beets
Chia Seeds - After the "Chia Pet" song from the commercial (Chi-Chi-Chi Chia Pet), I cannot ever imagine eating them under any circumstances.

Kale - I eat TONS of fiber but my body hates kale, it backs everything up if ya know what I'm saying... not good!
    Mushrooms- just plain gross
Almond butter- also gross, give me peanut butter any day of the week
Quest bars = expensive farts + extreme bloating

We get through loads of kale in our household- our guinea pigs love it! XD Nobody else can stand it, we buy it especially for them XD.

I don't like banana, it's the texture rather than the taste. If I do have one I like it to be pretty green still, like the "ripen at home ones", except I don't wait for them to ripen.

In honor of this thread, for veggies at dinner I sautéed up asparagus, onions, and mushrooms (pre-packed mix from Trader Joes) but also made sure to add some celery of my own!

Eggs...now scrambled or an omelette is fine. But if the egg is cooked while the egg yolk and white are still separate I won't eat it. I don't like the egg white on it's own, or the yolk. Boiled and then mashed - nope, it was cooked with them separate and tastes of egg yolk and egg white. But I love my scrambled eggs + omelettes :)

That and mushrooms....oh and maybe some of the offal - I can manage some of it, but really not.

But I love kale, greek yoghurt, advocados, and all other nice veggies and treats other folks don't seem to like.

    Agree with the kale.

Also, it's not a "health" food, but I freaking hate milk.

Me too! I can't stand milk.

Hummus, avocado, anything soy. Oh, and brussel sprouts. And asparagus.
  • Bell peppers (YUCK! The smell of them makes me want to vomit and I can taste them in anything)
Yogurt of any kind, greek or regular (bleh, I can't choke it down, no matter how much I try to like it)
Light dairy products (give me the regular stuff please! I will use less of it for a normal taste)
Pork, I'll eat it if it is cooked for me... but would never choose to have pork
    Olives
    Carrots
