Using the term bump incorrectly? Naw ....
(Since I was about to say bump for this)
I'd bump that......is that how it works?0 -
Two words... "Dr. Oz"0

Two words... "Dr. Oz"
This makes me sooooo happy from a personal stand point. Dr. Oz is an alumnus of my high school and everyone hates him there but it seems everyone else in America follows his words like a religion! Also, weight loss isn't his specialty so I don't know why he thinks he is an expert.0 -

A complaint thread, whining that you can't eat your 1200 calories because you're too full.......your ticker shows that you weigh 700 pounds, hmmmmmm?0

Here's one..."join me on my journey."
That or "Need help with logging." That one always cracks me up.0 -

I forced myself to watch his program on two occasions and he is the biggest *kitten* I've ever seen... I don't think there is anyone else on television I despise more.0 -

Yeah, saw that one too

Attempting to "discreetly" spam/make a sales pitch.
^^^ this, and if you do it privately, e.g. on a group or by PM, then expect all hell to break loose on you or post/PM with gifs and all the things everyone would like to say to spammers on the forum but don't because of the rules and mods and stuff...0 -

He used to come into my high school for alumni events and demand to look at the science textbooks and pick what we studied. He also sent us copies of all his shows so we could watch them in classes.
His dad though...lovely man.0 -

IMO, the quickest way to lose all credibility on MFP is to assume that only your posts are correct and everyone else is stupid. I live with someone like that and it is not fun. I believe the fastest way to lose credibility on MFP is to snark off at someone who is trying to learn. There have been 7 pages of posts on people trying to make themselves feel superior. I hope it was fun.0

here are 5 off the top of my head...
- use the word "detox" non-ironically
- start an "OMG everyone here is so mean and rude" thread
- post a cauliflower-replacement recipe non-ironically
- cite The China Study as scientific proof
- claim that Ben & Jerry's is better ice cream than Blue Bell.
I can't agree with any of these except for the last one. Blue Bell's the reason why ice cream exists!
Country Smile
Blue Bell homemade ice cream
Is the ice cream on the cake
It's the tip of the top
The cream of the crop
Like having your own ice cream shop
Blue Bell homemade ice cream
Is homemade country style
And Blue Bell
Is better by a country smile0 -

What a STUPID post! KIDDING!!!! I agree with you. People are here for help and maybe some fun, not ridicule, scorn or derision.0 -
- GMO foods make you fat - because I got overweight from a seedless orange
- Members who post 5 threads on the same subject with different titles in hopes that you validate their expectations. Like we will advocate for you to lose 4 lbs a week when you are 20 lbs overweight.0 -
