A few years back I ate peanut butter as my snack everyday in between my meals. I would just have a little bit on some graham crackers and I lost 40 lbs in 4 months while enjoying every bite. YES TO PB!0

Peanut butter is delicious nectar of the gods
This!! Peanut butter is love in a jar!! And I could never part with that!!0 -
Regular creamy Jif is the only way to go for me! YUM!!!!!
I don't have it every day... but I don't think there's anything wrong with having it every day. I usually eat it with carrots, apples, or bananas. Occasionally I'll eat it on an English muffin. I usually only eat one tablespoon per serving, as I find that's enough for me. That way, the stats really aren't too bad at all IMO (for my macros, calories, etc).0 -
I will take peanut butter on just about anything.0

Peanut butter is awesome. I could eat it all day every day. Soooo goood....

Moderation is key, right?
I have it with fruit, in smoothies, by the tablespoon....
Aussies - Sanitarium's no added sugar or salt isn't too bad!0 -
Peanut butter goes great with anything chocolate. It also makes an amazing cookie. It's also fantastic when you melt it and pour it on things, like bread/toast, waffles, etc. Inject it into some cupcakes. Make a buttercream frosting with it.
What could possibly go wrong? That's my take on peanut butter.
What could possibly go wrong? what could possibly go wrong?
I could find myself in the middle of the night standing in the kitchen in just my drawers with a jar of peanut butter in one hand, a spoon in the other, and a mouth full of regret.
PB2 is great for adding peanut butter flavor to recipes, but on its own, it pretty much sucks.0 -
I eat it on celery and apples....but I don't use the full serving. I smear it on until you can just get the taste and it curbs my craving for it. It ends up being like a half serving or less. LOVE IT.0

My take on peanut butter - That depends. Are you a fan of delicious flavor?0

I think that I'm the only human on earth who hates Peanut butter! I can eat a Reese's cup, but not just straight peanut butter yuk! Other than that I think that its a healthy fat source.0
-
You ever see what happens when you give a dog peanut butter? I do the same.0

I use the "all natural" kind and I find that a couple of teaspoons is plenty for toast which is my breakfast on most days.0

This may be the only thing on which you and I agree.
Well, I mean, the first two sentences. I'm pretty sure I disagree with your last sentence (insofar as it applies to regular peanut butter)...
...but two out of three ain't bad!0 -

great for bulking.
calories / protein / fat / dietary fiber
in my experience for cutting i don't have the discipline to just eat 2 tablespoons. way too many calories and the satiety of peanut butter isn't all that great. haha.0 -
PB is soo efffing good, almond butter too.
Both great for putting on muscle if you're lifting heavy.0 -
unless you are allergic to it, its all good stuff in moderation, go for it!0
-
I would rather cut off my own arm then give up my peanut butter. That stuff is the *kitten*.0

I have been having a craving for peanut butter and cringe at the caloric number. I have been eating it though with a banana or an apple taking really good care at the amount. I prefer natural, but I am still a fan of Skippy, but at 190 calories for 2 tbls, I don't know. I hear good things and bad things about PB and am afraid to waste so many calories when I can have a good piece of steak or chicken.

After the gods gave fire to man they gave peanut butter to us, it was good and all was right with the world. Then they gave us woman and we haven’t had a second of peace since! ;-) (I kid…) Seriously though everything in moderation, since starting MFP the first week of January I have continued to eat one to two tablespoons of PB a night with a tall glass of milk and I have lost 18 pounds to date. Use your food log and just stay within your macro’s and you’ll be fine.
I will also do extra sets in the gym just to give me the room for any extra treats, which is usually PB.
I hope I didn’t offend anybody with my little joke.

I f*ckn love peanut butter!!! I've lost 41lbs and have eaten it almost every day so as long as you are aware of what an actual tbsp or two is then your fine and pairing with celery (did that today) or apple or rice cake then awesome snack full of protein! I personally think PB2 takes like crap when u mix with water I prefer in a shake.0

P28 white chocolate PB is the BEST choice!!0

Peanut Butter is great. It may have a lot of calories but at least it has protein. As long as you can work it into your daily allowance I don't see why you can't have it.0
-
I love peanut butter. It's such a shame because it's so high in calorie. I can't really control myself with it. So I try to stick with PB2. I go through that stuff like gangbusters.0

(But seriously, what did they used to do with this stuff leftover from making peanut oil before they realized they could package it and sell it for human consumption?)0
