when younger was long in men but now short or just shaved stubble drives me mad lol0

Women: I like to see long hair, yay!
For me, I like to keep it at USAF grooming standards (no sideburns, ugh!)0 -
I personally like the look of long hair on women, but I think it also depends on the age. Long hair on older women isn't always flattering. Some can rock it, some can't.
For the men....very short hair or bald is where it's at...but that's just my personal opinion.

what i like is secondary (to me) to what makes someone comfortable. i prefer above all else that anyone be comfortable with him-/herself. if that turns out to be a haircut i despise (e.g. hitler youth style--tru story), well, i'm a grown-up. i can deal.0

I look like crap with long hair. I have a pixie cut, and it looks fantastic on me.
Me too girl! Why everyone hating on the short pixie on women? I agree that not everyone can pull it off, but I look terrible with longer hair. I went from short to long for a short time and felt like my facial features were always hidden and it made me look older.
Anyway, everyone has an opinion and their own likes and dislikes. I like short hair on ME.0 -
When I was younger I mostly attracted to guys with long hair, I still like long hair on some guys, but I like both short and long hair on guys now, and completely bald is sexy too. So, really it hair doesn't matter as much as the face and body.0

On women I am ok with both. Some women look better with short hair, some look better with long hair.0

For me, I would love to have long hair. I think it's gorgeous!! But mine is nowhere near gorgeous when grown out and I can't do anything with it to help it. I recently had my hair cut to shoulder length and my husbands exact words were, "Foxy!"
So for women, whatever they can pull off. Really, some women look great with pixie cuts.
I prefer short hair for men. My hubby has to keep his cut. Works for me.0 -
I've had short hair and long hair. I've been told both look good on me, but I prefer long hair just because of the versatility. Ponytail, buns, hundreds of different kinds of braids, etc...
On men, I prefer short hair. Think military cut short.0 -
I am not really picky. But my preference would be long hair. And I really don't care what a man does. But my hair is always short, military type.0

I like medium kinda length on men, I keep dating men who like to cut their hair really really short and it makes me sad
I'm not sure about too long either though.
On me long! I had short once... I cried for days! lol

Ya know what's fun with short hair? Different styles. I've probably had 10+ different styles in the last few years (including a very short pixie). With long hair you have long, one length, long with layers, long with bangs, and 'um, that's pretty much it, well except you still get pony tails and stuff too. Honestly I like variety. I like to change my hair often. Its been a bunch of different lengths and even colors. If I kept it long just because "men like it" I would get very bored with it. It's like an attached accessory. Would you wear the same necklace your entire life? The same purse? Same earrings?0

I look fabulous with short hair. It has never occurred to me to give a *kitten* what anyone else thinks. I have no preference on mens hair either. I've been with all kinds. The only time I cared was when I dated a smoker who had super long hair. It soaked up all the nasty cig smell. :sick:0

Very, very, very few women can pull off short hair. Sorry ladies who think it's "cute"...it's really not. Even if you do look decent with it, I can bet you 99% of the time, you'd look BETTER with long hair.

In my opinion, a woman who can pull of a pixie cut is so incredibly sexy. Because, I think most women can pull off long hair. I have never heard someone say "you look bad with long hair." It just doesn't seem to happen.
so if a woman can pull off a pixie cut it makes it rare - and i think it says something about her confidence - because not many women would take that step to cut it so short.0 -

yes there are some people who do it BETTER- but the same could be said for long hair- I'd rather see people who gave up doing short hair than that long stringy unkempt mess of long hair- that's ridiculous.
PS- the longest my hair has been in 15 years is jaw length- it flip flops between shaved and that lenght. I never fail to get comliments on ANY cut.
I have an idea- and I have a fantastic stylist and I let her take my idea and make it work for me. that's all there is to it.
