  • I might be a little late to this party, but I am 22, looking to lose around 15lbs, really just started counting calories and working out a little over a week ago, and was a little disheartened to see that I have gained a pound (I know, I know, it happens, water weight, not counting calories closely enough, etc).

    I'm not terribly strict on my diet, but I do try and stay within 1200 calories. Add me if you like! I haven't tried using the community as a weight loss tool, so this is my first post/attempt!

    Im Linni, im 27 , I need to loose ALOT. I joined to loose weight for my best friends wedding which is next week, I lost a stone and have stopped :( I will continue my weightloss journey after the wedding as I am determined to not be a fat sweaty mess this summer!!

  • I'm 27 and currently 184 pounds. I am 5' 10" so my weight is stretched out, but I would really like to get back to weighing 160. I've always battled my weight and I struggle to maintain. I'm hoping to lose 10 pounds by this summer or at lease lose several inches so I look better in my bathing suit. Feel free to add me!

    I just turned 30 but close enough to 20ish. I have been on and off using MFP for over a year but ready to get serious.

    I am trying to lose 15 lbs by June 7th. It's going to suck and it's not going to be easy but it will be totally worth it!

    Hi all! I have been getting pretty frustrated the past 2 weeks. I've really cleaned up my diet for the past 1 1/2-2 months. Significantly less processed foods, more clean eating habits (baby steps in that department) excercising ( Insanity-T25 and Cardio) counting calories and have just been making healthier choices overall, and have not been seeing a weight loss at all. In fact I've gained a little over a pound and visually, I'm not seeing a difference. I'm reading A LOT about tracking macro's instead of calories and people who have seen a large difference. Is anyone doing this or can shed some helpful light on this topic? Thanks!
