im training for a granfondo race. I'm riding on average 30 kms a day/ 5 days a week.
I get my heart rate to around 170bpm, at a cadence of above 85rpm. And yes my butt is killing me!!!0 -

First bike ride of the year. Rode my city bike to church-in coloured jeans with a bit of stretch in them. Car was our of comission.
It's 5 k from here with great bike lanes on the road.
*city bike is 20 years old-no shocks, hybrid handle bars but is getting for running errands in town. Also have road bike and mountian bike but both require vigilant watching if parked anywhere.0 -

I raced the last Southern Oregon Time Trial yesterday. I peddled hard, I had fun and I am happy with my result. This race was the hardest of the three - more elevation gain then the prior two combined, but no long sustained climbs. There were at least eight short but steep climbs, the kind that are very hard.

Just finished a 5-hour Spinergize for Hospice yesterday and feeling great that I accomplished what I set out for. I have been spinning since September at the Gym 3 times per week at 6 AM!!!! It took a while to get used to it but I am hooked on it now!!! Thinking about heading outdoors once the weather gets better ... Good Luck to Everyone on your goal0
