I lost 6 lbs this week and 8.2 so far for the month. Thrilled with this week. I haven't been working out, but I did get the Christmas decorations up so maybe that helped?0 -

I gained a few ounces since last Friday when I peeked before heading to my parents for the weekend. However I'm not complaining since I did drink alcohol on Saturday night & wasn't home for any of my meals the entire weekend. Also yesterday I ate out for both lunch & dinner, had a beer AND an ice cream cone too....so I'd say I'm doing good considering...oh plus all the Christmas cookies over the weekend! :laugh:
The Christmas party for my dad's company was a blast. CJ had a great time! My pic is of us!

As for the running outside in the cold...that is definitely not for me! I miss running....I am not a treadmill runner & I don't do very good running the track at the gym either. I need to just suck it up & get on my treadmill & do it! I miss warm weather already!0 -

I'd lke to join if it's not too late? I am down 4 pounds since starting this month, but would really like to hit 8...which will be a stretch since I think I have a stomach bug. At least I'm not eating too much, ha! Let me know what I need to do to participate!0

Kelly , I'm with you , I have been not eating the best lately but still lost a pound since my last week...can't believe it....must be all the hustle and bustle of the season....will hope to get things back on track at the beginning of the year...not giving up but just concentrating on maintaining for the next 2 weeks...

I am still not feeling back to normal after a couple bouts of the flu. Exercise is mostly just easy walks or marching around the house. I did wii fit for 30 minutes yesterday, but that has been it for the week. And this shows on my weigh in.

Good Morning everyone. I finally made it home last night. Huge snow storm up here in MI and I haven't been home since Sat. I LOVE my own bed...lol I got stuck in the town where I work which is 40 min. from home. No exercise but I tried to eat well. Not looking forward to the scale tomorrow, but my goal for Dec. was to JUST NOT gain any weight.0

So I went to the gym today (still on my free pass) and I ran a 35min 5k!!! WOOT WOOT!! I'm so stoked!! And to think I was seriously gonna quit halfway through! That's 9min off my actual 5k I ran outside!! Happy Bru Dance :drinker:
I like having the gym access, but I don't think I'd use it as much if I knew I could use it whenever I wanted. Knowing that I only have 7days to try it makes me kill it in the gym. But that's a good thing because I'm shaking things up a bit and confusing my body. Not too much exercise for a few weeks, mostly light stuff then a few days of running and such.
I'm not expecting a loss tomorrow, but I hope I break through shortly after the New Year.0 -

Hi everyone,
Today was our Holiday Staff appreciation lunch. That means yummy food and LOTS of delicious treats. I typically walk for my lunch break, 45-55 minutes usually and didn’t want to give up my walk to stuff my face with tons of calories. I was feeling fairly bad about being doomed to having a high calorie day, but then it hit me, I really don’t need to go to this lunch. So I didn’t go! I went for my walk instead (I snuck out the side door so nobody would urge me to stay :devil: ) I had my salad once I got back, and feel so great about skipping out. I will always have more work lunches to come in the future. So this was my mini success! In past years I have eaten myself into a coma, but not this year, and I hope never again! Now I just better stay out of the break room, leftovers a plenty!0 -

Had jury duty this week, so my exercise has been nearly zero. Did manage to drop a pound, but my measurements haven't changed. Looking forward to a sunny weekend so I can get outside and move!

How (not) funny I have jury duty too but my next date to appear isn't until after the Christmas thank heavens....
Heading to the YMCA--will get a much needed workout in...I am missing running outdoors though...REALLY bad!!...Hope everyone is ready for the weekend...couple Christmas parties later so I will try to be good....have a GREAT day all....
Oh, and Bru glad you are enjoying the membership, know what you mean about not using it as much if it wasn't a week free , but proud of you for taking full advantage of the time and hoping you get the funds (maybe from Santa??)0 -

I was thrilled yesterday to be back at goal weight of 119 pounds Yeyyyyy but then I went out for a meal last night and the scales have gone up by 3 pounds thismorning :noway: but its my Birthday today :happy: so i'm not going to worry as i'm going out to lunch in a minute and out again for another meal tonight so by tomorrow it will be up some more :sad:0

Happy Saturday friends!
I cleaned up today before breakfast and then got on the scale to see a loss! 149! The lost was a little less than a pound. But the funny thing is that yesturday I got lots of yummy little gifts for the girls at the school. Cookies, truffles, toffee, more cookies, and I thought that I would pick the one I really wanted the most and give the rest away. To the man downstairs, to my kids and boyfriend, co-workers, anyone who will take em! But anyway I chose to eat a homemade chocolate toffee with almonds. IT WAS SO GOOD! But the day after I logged the extra 850 calories I had a loss on the scale that has been fairly stuck the last two weeks? WTF?0 -
Many thanks to you all for my Birthday Wishes, I had a great day and far too much food and drink! + today I have been eating the candy and cookies that were given to me :sad: I soooo meant to give them away :laugh: so the scales will be up again tomorrow! 119 pounds on Thursday morning..122 pounds on Friday morning...123 pounds on Saturday morning HELP! lol0

Did some awesome covert Christmas shopping yesterday (BIG shout out to the guy working the video game department in Target last night!!). On the way home decided to hit one last spot, a consignment type store right off OSU campus. It's kind of a trendy pllace and I've never been in there before but I've been struggling with the NYE dress thing, so what can it hurt, right? I ended up buying an pretty little black dress, that still has the original tags on it... for $16!! Spending today finishing the tree & hanging out with my little one.

Hey guys. I've started logging food again. I'm back up to 141, zooming towards 142 fast. *lol* Tomorrow I'm going to start exercising again and getting back to eating right. I think I've consumed more butter and sugar in the last week than I've had a whole two months previous. I really hope I can work back down past 140 again before Christmas.
Today is the last day of moving. I hate moving!!! I spent an hour trying on clothes to see what to box with what. I'm going to have to either store or get rid of a bunch of clothes. Since a lot of them are really ugly, I think I know which one I'd rather do.0 -

Hey so i just went and calculated my BMI And i realized that It has just barely dropped below 30 which is the obese catagory and is now into the overweight catagory : ) Yay!! Now I just need to get into the Normal range lol : ) yay for really tiny but awesome successes0

Good morning everyone. Well, I survived the 2 Christmas parties this weekend with no damage. Stayed under my calories and the only thing I ate that was on my no-no list was 2 bites of warm, delicious chocolate cake. :happy:
Well, this is the final countdown until Christmas and I have a million things to do, as I'm sure the rest of you do too. The most time consuming thing is to make 4 dozen cake pops for a friend. Why did I agree to do that? :noway: Too much to do and too little time.
Well, here's my weekly check-in. I have to say I am so proud of myself this month. I really thought this month was going to be a bust but I've been very diligent with keeping track of my calories. I'm sure I'll show a gain next week but my goal is still to make the 5 lb challenge.
