Read the list. I was very distracted by all the ads circling the page about the 23 foods that can kill body fat, how having an acidic body can cause your belly fat, and the 4 hormone killing foods to never eat (BEWARE!)
Okay. Rant read, digested, and eliminated.0 -
45 minutes: Your body ups your dopamine production, stimulating the pleasure centers of your brain. This is physically the same way heroin works, by the way.
This was my favorite. "Yeah, let's compare dopamine release to heroin, to illustrate how dangerous it is!"
Of course your brain also releases dopamine any time you have a good workout, eat something tasty, have sex, etc. But they went right for heroin...wonder why?0 -
Well reading that was a total waste of time.0

It's really too early for this0

That's hilarious!! I love these bro science scaremongering stories always good for a laugh
This is an insult to bros.
Seriously, OP, even if Coke is not the best thing in the world for you, taking an argument to an absurd extreme generally makes people want to dismiss the argument entirely.0 -
After this crazy stomach virus, Coke is probably the reason why I'm no longer puking up gallons. I don't drink it much anymore, but Coke will always hold a special place in my heart! <3330

Ah! I love the smell of scaremongering in the morning!0

I was a bit sad to see that the yoghurt I drank which is 32cal is higher than a Coke zero which is only 1cal. How did that happened?0

> 60 minutes: The phosphoric acid binds calcium, magnesium, and zinc in your lower intestine, providing a further boost in metabolism
So you're saying I need to drink more coke?0 -

If you add rum to the coke it reverses the process - I think.0 -

+1, I heard the same thing.0 -
I drink Coke and Diet Coke, and other sugar-filled fizzy drinks.
That must be why I haven't lost any weight...
... oh, wait.0 -
I love that article because it's totally made up. Besides the fact that a can of Coke is relatively comparable sugar wise to a banana of even a big apple, and I suppose if we ignore the fact that you'd need to drink 24 cans of Coke to get enough caffeine for the diuretic effect to kick in, then maybe there might be a bit of truth in the article...
I'm surprised the author didn't go into all the effects of the deadliest ingredient in Coke, the H2CO3. That stuff's fatal if you happen to inhale it...0 -
But I don't drink soda…why am I still fat? Why? WHY? :sad:0
