      Last week at my daughter's dance classes, they asked if i was her sister and in highschool. I'm 27.

      They also asked if I was Bosnian or Hispanic......I don't get that one (i am neither....)

      My husband and I took our kids to a Halloween event and a gal was handing out raffle tickets to all the kids to win a prize, and she gave one to me as well. My husband said, "You're giving one to her also?" And the gal said, "Yeah, why not. Teenagers can play too."

      That's how I felt... and then I had two of my own. However, as much as I love my kids, I still shy away when someone tries to hand me a baby, saying, "Isn't he/she/it cute?" I try not to respond, "I like puppies."

      During the winter when I'm covered up, people are surprised to find out how many tattoos I have. They don't really match my personality...stereotypically. Otherwise, those people that already know I have a lot of tattoos are surprised to find out that I'm an avid knitter and cat lady.

      I think rap and pop are the worst kinds of music (I actually don't even refer to it as music normally). Rock, folk, classic country, blues, alternative, oldies are my life. And I have a deep emotional attachment to music.
