In the the 6 months that I've been on a road, this is my best month. Most total miles, fastest rate over an hour and my fast top speed. I generally don't try to kill myself, but just push pretty hard the entire time. Increase mileage and rates really are just my own way to see that I'm making some progress. It's pretty exciting for me!
Quite a variety of riders on this thread. Although there are several which have some truly amazing miles total (seriously amazing), there are also a some riders that don't have a huge total miles yet are equally inspiring! I noticed some strong finishes as well. I hope that it's been an awesome month of riding for everyone! Warmer months are upon us, so lets make to tracks.0 -

3/1 - 1.2 miles.
3/2 - 1.7 miles.
3/8 - 1.9 miles.
3/9 - 2.8 miles in little bits between chores.
3/10 - 2.0 miles.
3/11 - 2.4 miles.
3/15 - 2.5 miles. Building my speed back up a little. 9.5mph average today. Last year, my max was about 11.5mph average (and rarely got that fast). I'm happy with anything over 10.1mph.
3/15 - 1.9 miles for my second trip out today and got it to 9.9mph average.
3/16 - 2.7 miles.
3/16 - Did an additional 1.6 miles today.
3/19 - 1.7 miles.
3/20 - 1.4 miles.
3/20 - Another 1.4 miles this afternoon.
3/21 - 1.8 miles.
3/21 - 1.9 miles later.
3/21 - Another 0.9 miles today.
3/22 - 3.7 miles (with a little talk/rest break). Went the rural route today for the first time this season. Not totally flat (but no hills).
3/22 - 1.9 additional since I bought myself a cake and won't be riding for the next four days probably.
3/23 - 1.1 miles (too cold for more).
3/24 - 1.5 miles.
3/27 - 2.2 miles.
3/27 - 1.7 more miles.
3/28 - 2.9 miles.
3/30 - 1.6 miles. Too much pain, fatigue, and wind to do more.
3/31 - 2.7 miles.
MTD = 49.1 miles. So, I will set a goal of 60 miles for April.0 -
