No Shower

Hi, I wanted others opinions...So my boyfriend of almost 4 years only showers once a week, and doesn't even wear deodorant. I've even had family mention his bad odor. It's so embarrassing! I tried telling him in a light hearted way, that didn't work. So I told him in a blunt way, and he agreed to shower more, but he still hasn't. I've lost track of how many days it's been. I think his last shower was last Wednesday, but can't be certain. It's making me not want to be intimate with him either, we probably are intimate the amount of times he showers during the week. The whole take a shower with him to get him clean idea, I hate taking showers with him because he always wants to be intimate and I just can't do it, and I feel as if I am rewarding him every time he takes a shower - and he should just take one any way! Not asking for him to shower every day, but at least every other day! Opinions?

    That's gross & very unsanitary. Imagine he gives you a urinary tract infection. Oh no! Always use protection is my advice & also give him the ultimatum, no shower no us ????

    I hope this is a joke lol I wouldn't be able to handle it! I had a boyfriend that wouldn't brush his teeth. His teeth were stained with yellow, he would use his sweater sleeves to wipe it off. I told him it was disgusting and he didn't care. I shudder thinking about it.

    Well, I didn't catch on until we moved in together, and I started to notice after we had our daughter. I had a job before hand and wasn't around to watch every move. So it's not all black and white.

    If this is serious... Buy him some deodorant. Give it to him and tell him you'd like him to use it. That should be sufficiently unsubtle and should solve some of the problem. As for showering, I don't have any ideas.

    That is a disturbing thing to say! Read my reply above, we have a child together and I didn't catch on until after our child was born. Can't just up and leave.

    No, he is not rich, not everything is about money! I do love him, just wanting him to shower! Money would be nice though...
