I'm in for 30 miles. Lower goal this month because for half the month I'll be away from home and I hope to transition off the treadmill. On my off running days I strength train and once the weather warms up I'll strength train/cycle.0

Braved the heat for 4.28 today. Tomorrow, my phone should be working again, so I'll get more accurate distance.

I would do this if I had a treadmill at home. I have to go to the gym of a hotel most days and don't want to seem suspicious going in too often. The gym I have a membership at is an hour from my home so I have to take the train there and can only go once a week.
Can you run outside in a park or greenway or some route that has the milage marked off or predetermined?
I use an app on my phone called runtastic. The app uses the gps on my phone so as I am running, it tells me how far and how fast I ran. That is how I normally keep track of my milage. There are other apps that you can download onto your phone that do the same thing. I just happened to use runtastic. But endomondo, mapmyrun, runkeeper... they all do pretty much the same thing, then you won't need a treadmill.0 -

Hello! I can always use an extra layer of accountability! I used to run 3 miles/day several days a week, job change killed that. I'm now aiming to run 2-3 days a week mixing it up with an abs dvd that I like, but is a bit too much to do every day of the week. So....that being said, I'm aiming for a goal of 25 miles this month. I'd love to do 30...who knows? Nice to meet you!0
