Nice meals
And I normally use butternut pumpkin. Unsure if it is Australian only? It's the regular one we have.

That's sounds interesting. Where up North? and how do you make them?
In the New England area - I'm from Texas and this was the first time I'd ever seen them here. I cooked them (you don't want to eat them raw) in salted boiling water for about 4 minutes before draining and shocking them in some ice water. Then I heated a little vegetable oil in a skillet with a slivered garlic clove and some chopped almonds. Tossed in the drained ferns and sauteed for a couple of minutes before seasoning with salt, pepper, and fresh thyme. It was tasty
Bump for this recipe. I'm in Texas as well and have never seen these. Will have to look and find them.0 -

Wow! Where does everyone get all these ideas and recipes from? I have no creativity when it comes to making my meals and I'm getting so bored. I don't want to give up but I'm running out of ideas!! And how do you know how many calories you're taking in from these awesome dishes?0
