    Only 3.5km today because I have a niggle in my calf so had to pull up...have now invested in a Foam Roller and hope to get my scheduled 4.5miler in tomorrow!

    19K training run yesterday. I ran a bit faster than I have been going and found it tough, but not impossible. I am also trying to increase my speed on my regular weekday runs, which generally range between 8.5 and 10.5k. The one thing I'm finding is that I am hungry - and hungry for carbs! I'm averaging nearly 70k per week (versus my usual 40k per week when I'm not training), so I guess it's no wonder. I don't want to run hungry because it sucks, especially on long run days, but I guess that means I am not going to lose any weight while training (and may, in fact, put on a bit). Oh, well - I'm OK with that. But I do look forward to alternating runs with other kinds of exercise (especially weight training, which I love) after the race is over.

    Ticker wont work for me for some reason.

    My goal is 50 miles (80.46 km since I am Canadian)

    April 6 - 2.04 km (outdoor)
    April 7 - 3.21 km (indoor)
    April 8 - 3.21 km (indoor)
    April 9 - 2.31 km (outdoor - walked to work!)

    Total: 10.77 km
