I am a social worker for the department of family and children services (child protective services). Some days I do a lot of sitting with meetings, court, and documentation and then other days I do a lot of running from house to house. I am also a mom to a 5 month old.0

I am a stay at home mom. As soon as my daughter is in preschool I plan on going part time to some sort of college class for photography and art, mainly to improve my skills and learn new techniques, also meet new people!0

"Business Performance Specialist"
It actually means that I tell people that they suck because they aren't following established process/policy, or I tell the people who write the process/policy that they suck because the customers are getting screwed. It also means I am surrounded by fellow nerds who either got their degree in the wrong field, or they didn't finish their degree for whatever reason. We have fun though!
Damnnnn, you're essentially the business police. Have you ever repelled out of a helicopter when you had to bust someone? You know.. just for effect..
I could use the business police in my job as an IT Change Manager......mainly sat behind a monitor all day...luckily we have a gym on site so when I get too fed up of people ignoring the process I can go and work out my annoyance.:explode:0 -

Work in the office for a demolition company. Pretty boring but not stressful or the normal "catty" environment. So I guess it doesn't hurt any of my goals. Plus I get free time to sit and creep the forums on MFP. :laugh:0

I'm an Assistant District Attorney prosecuting mostly felony level drug and gun arrests. I will be trying my first homicide in a few weeks so that's pretty exciting. I am constantly running back and forth from court all day, so I am rarely sitting for long periods of time, but my schedule is so crazy that I often don't have time during the day to sneak in a workout or to eat a decent lunch.
Sounds awesome - if only I knew what I wanted to be back when I had time for school! Good luck on your up coming case!0 -

Corporate attorney. Definitely not conducive to a healthy lifestyle, but the company has a good gym and free fitness classes where I spend my lunch hour. I'm also a mom and get a lot of exercise on our small family farm.0

Graphic Designer/Web Developer ... So if I move from my desk, it's intentional, lol. I recently began trying to get in at least an hour or so on the treadmill during the day. Usually, that means grabbing my laptop and working through the workout--- but, at least I get one of my two workouts in during the afternoon!0

I am lucky to be high enough up the ladder that I can get away with making my own meals with in reason. Lots of turklry burgers and salads with grilled chicken.
The down side is I work a lot so it is hard to make time to exercise.0 -
