Incongruous ended up as Incroguous the other night.

Don't do crosswords at a silly time of night when you can barely speak English at the best of times XD

Woost-a-sheer - easier as I'm a Midlander (UK) but it's not at all pronounced how it's spelt, annoyingly enough. Shrewsbury is also not Shrews-bury, but Shroes-bury. Special language... :P

My dad can't say ORANGE - it comes out more like OINGE

I had a neighbor that couldn't say CRAYON - came out like CROWN...

I personally have trouble with RURAL... it comes out more like RULE or at best RURL.... All part of my love affair with the English language!

Definitely this word for me. And as long as we're talking about food, my German husband giggles every time I say spoetzl wrong.

I have a hell of a time with "patronize". Is it a "long" or a "short" a? I've heard it said both ways. Yet despite how I say it, I'm usually told that it's the other way.
