^This. Getting hit on or checked out is nice even if you're not out to cheat or anything. I like to give and receive compliments from men or women because it's a nice thing to do and nice to feel like other people appreciate how you look too. I've walked up to random strangers just to tell a girl that she looks amazing in that dress etc.1

Rarely. Of course I do have my patented "Talk to me and I'll rip your face off" expression when I go out. I don't really like people much these days.
Only problem is, a face like that gets to be a habit, and when and if I do decide I want someone to hit on me, I might be out of luck.0 -

I don't get hit on as much as I used to, which I'm fine with. I got hit on more and was stared down by men BEFORE I lost weight. Before I was 135 lbs ( I am 5'3.5" ) so I have never been overweight, but I had a curvy hourglass figure. There were certain things about my body I didn't like, which is why I decided to change it. For example, I didn't have a small stomach like I do now, and I got bloated easily. I still get bloated now, but not to the extent I did back then. I also didn't like the roundness of my face ( sorry for rambling ).
I lost almost 30 lbs.... just about done now, or else I will get too thin. I'm about 108-109 now and have dropped 4 cup sizes in my bra, so that might be why I don't get hit on as much. I also suspect I look much younger now so men might think I am a minor. In fact a lot of people think I am 16 or 17, but I'm 25.
I am glad I am not bothered as much! It is nice to know on occasion that you look good but when it gets to the point that you're being hit on all the time, that gets annoying.
I think men might not hit on you because your body might intimidate them. After all, you look very toned and strong. But I wouldn't worry about it either way!1 -
Yes not often but yes and the two times that I know of girls checking me out my husband was the one that caught it and told me. LOL!!0

I managed to land me a good ole country boy without dressing like a redneck hoochie, thank you very much. And I am a city girl - from Chicago originally. Maybe I give off that damn Yankee vibe, eh?

Since losing weight I am very talkative with everyone and I think that May lead to guys hitting on me. Often though they are guys that are only a few years (5-6) older than my son, which is odd to me, but I guess it's a compliment. It might be that you don't give off a vibe of "hey come talk to me" because you are contempt in your marriage, or like you mentioned about that night leaving the club, how u assumed the comment was directed at your friends, you might just be oblivious to the guys coming on to you.0

I get complimented (typically on a dress or shoes) but not really hit on. (I am not sure the men commenting on my shoes would be the same men to hit on me...)0

Only when wearing a low cut shirt. Which is rarely. And even then, most people only talk to my boobs.

No, not really. I have never been hit on, not even by my current boyfriend. He got me to like him by just teasing and occasionally showing he could be a gentleman instead of just a big clown...(I hit on him just a few times though, but so did a few other girls...I guess i'm lucky xD) He was very straight forward and serious whenever he asked me out. I can count the number of times I have been hit on on one hand. It isn't really to surprising because I'm not the prettiest. :P
BUT...One or two of my friends get hit on a lot and they don't even notice!0 -
I think I'd have a little better luck if the younger guys were around the cardio equipment instead of ONLY the weights. Wiping down benches aren't nearly as suggestive as wiping down upright handlebars on ellipticals...1

I work in a pediatrics clinic. I either tend to get hit on by moms, or so-young-it's-not-even-funny. The most recent, and worst, was a 4yr old who approached me while I was entering vitals into the computer. She began rubbing my arm and, no joke, said, "When I'm older I can do what I want with you."
I felt so... violated. My wife thought it was hysterical when I told her. Even thinking about it now, though, I want a shower.1 -
