This sounds great. How do I get the little blurb at the bottom that says how far I've gone, and my goal. "December move your *kitten* challenge..." Is it something I need to join??0
-
Okay - I can do 75 miles this month0

You need to get a ticker from www.tickerfactory.com0 -
OKOK made the 100 miles last month. I need to step it up. 150???? Humnnnnn....4.8 miles a day min..... I think I can do it!0
-
I'm going for 50 simply because all of my miles are run outside and I have no idea what the weather will do. Right now, it's 47 and a bit humid, next week it could be in the teens and snow and ice. Gotta love the NC weather. I hope to smash it though, if I get all my training runs it should be around 65.0

ok, I thought this was somewhere else. glad I found the right one. How do you count spin class for miles? I think its about 1 mile every 5 minutes or so. So for a 45 minute class, its about 9 miles. Maybe I will just count 6. Does that sound reasonable?0

I'm in! I set 60 as my goal last month, and did 70. This month my goal is 100 miles. :drinker:0
-
I am in again also. Crossing fingers I can make my goal this month.
I think I can! I think I can! I think I can!
January goal is to walk 60 miles.0 -

To put goals in go to your signature and paste in the ticker hmtl or whatever you call them and then you can type in the green writing.0 -
Alright last month I was lousy about putting any information up on here so I'll scrap last month altogether and start fresh.
I'll go with 80 and this time I'll be sure to stick up the numbers.0 -
count me in....I could use some motivation my goal is 50 miles to start with!!!!!0
-
01/01/11 - 3 miles0

I don't have any extended vacation time planned so 60 miles will be a good, challenging goal for me. It'll consist almost entirely of running & walking and possibly an occasional bike ride. I'm also doing a separate 30DS challenge so I have a great month ahead of me. I can't wait to see the results! :-)
Good luck everyone -- it's time to get a move on and get your groove on!0 -
just move your *kitten* in a measurable way.....miles/KM.....biking hiking walking running elliptical swimming stair climber swimming......choose a distance goal and start moving your *kitten*.....report the movement in the thread and make a ticker to track it....check out others signatures....you can just update there or get an actual ticker from ticker factory....
welcome and healthy new year to you...0 -
dinos can you keep track of the chart for us???0

Glad to be back and see a JMYAC going!

Sure, I'll keep track of the chart.
Didn't post a final chart for December, but I posted the names of the 16 participants that reached their goals. Total miles of the challenge were 2,593.3. Congratulations to everybody for working so hard. It doesn't really matter whether you made your goals or not, doing the best you can is the beauty of the challenge. Let's see how far we can go in January.
On a personal note i'm a little disappointed that regardless of the 200 miles I moved, I managed to gain a couple of pounds in December. :grumble:  I'd like to think that I'm building muscle Anyways I think I can resolve the issue, so I'm starting 2011 fresh with a beautiful 6.38 mile walk in the rain.0 -
Hi, i'm in again and think I will stick to 100 miles for January as hubby off work for another 2 weeks and he is not into walking just eating:laugh: but I have managed to walk 8 miles so far this month :bigsmile:0

Hey Mollie, are you joining us in this challenge?
I'm tracking the challenge data on a new spreadsheet at:

If you want to see the numbers whenever suits you, I suggest you bookmark it0 -
Thank you Dinos for all your tracking and Blu for all of your great challenges!!!0

I am definitely in!!!! I didn't make my goal in December, but I know I will make it this month!!!
Put me in for 100 miles!!!0 -
I am in for 60 miles! Seems like not much but I am also doing a hybrid of Turbo Fire/ChaLean Xtreme! This new ticker will not accept halves only whole miles (wierd) but 1/1 I did a 2.5 mile walk in the frigid air!0

Adding .5 of a mile, warm-up before the Shred L1.0
-
I'm in. 2.59 miles yesterday. Goal is 75 miles.0
