My wedding ring is slipping OFF of my finger!!! It keeps turning around and it's slowly inching up to my knuckle. In a way, that's great but in a way, not so much. I'm scared of losing it!

I'm getting this too with my engagement ring! You could try a ring snuggie until you decide you want to get your ring resized! http://www.amazon.com/Ring-Snuggies-Original-Adjusters-Assorted/dp/B0014DGXU825 -
I (bravely) calculated my BMI yesterday. (Yes, I still agree it's only one number and doesn't take into account the whole picture.) However! I discovered that I am *only* 18 lbs "overweight" (18 lbs from "Normal" range BMI) according to the BMI scale! I have never thought of myself as "only 20 lbs overweight" so it was quite a surprise.
I also ordered some new clothes online, and tried them on this morning. I'm a full size (maybe size and a half) down and comfortably slid into 14 pants. I'm going to have to have some of the items taken in!
Also...... maybe TMI.... but the "underwater basket weaving" has recently been even better..... probably can't go into details or explain my theory as to why without getting the attention of fasci- I mean moderators.89 -
I wore my first pair of smaller pants to work yesterday - felt great. Putting on a baggy pair today was gross and I am going pants shopping tomorrow and ditching all the baggy ones!! Oh and my "biggest loser" program at work ended today - I lost 19.8 pounds in 16 weeks, including a 0.6 loss this week even though I took a few liberties with my menu. Yahoo!116

I have a few:
BP was 108/68 - Last year this time I was on HBP meds!
My once 'skinny jeans' are now my loose comfy jeans
My belt has run out of notches!113 -
Last week my hubby said "you are done losing weight now, right?"... this from the guy who is taller than me and weighs less than I do!
Also discovered my nice new work clothes I purchased 2 months ago are now loose...will need to get some tailoring done!85 -
I went down a size in underwear.
I'm intentionally trying to shrink the waist and hip areas of my "skinny" jeans.60 -
in 2012 I lost 20 lbs and bought a pair of WHBM jeans. (a nice splurge)
in 2013 I started a job in the "corporate" world and let all my hard work go to waste.
Starting again in August of 2013 I began to work again, but not obsessively/hardcore... at a nice pace for me.
Today I'm in those jeans again.125 -
Yesterday I was finally able to lift my dive buddy and take him to the surface during rescue training. Never able to do it so I felt happy.....pure strenght it is! Buddy isn't extremely heavy (70-80kg) but that is dead weight durng a rescue yeah79

I went to my netball training session last night - it was first time I'd seen my team-mates for 3 weeks because we don't play during the school holidays. 3 people (independently of each other I should add!) all commented on how great I looked and how much weight I'd lost. Was so happy!! :-)62

Oh boy I have done that course and it is not easy to lift a diver out of water! Congrats!27 -
My husband telling me " You can't see those dimple things in your legs you were talking about anymore" (Cellulite)115

Almost none of my clothes fit me anymore. And yesterday a lady in my office said, "You look so tiny in that shirt." It was an old one that was previously too tight. But most importantly my blood pressure and cholesterol were perfect when I went for my annual checkup this week.107

I've accidently 'drowned' some buddies before because I wasn't able to lift them :frown: now that trickiest part was tovremve his weight belt without grabbing his crotch (which would have been awkward since I haven't trained with him as much as some of my other male buddies)8 -
Didn't have to buy larger summer clothes for the first time in 3 years.86

Well, my boss just found out he's prediabetic and needs to start losing weight right away ...... he's upset that his major food groups (pizza, soda & candy) are now in jeopardy
My NSV ....... he's asking me how I lost all that weight !91 -
The awesome red suede boots (with the biggest calf I could find) that I got for my birthday, the ones that wouldn't zip up past my ANKLE and made me cry...I just put them on and zipped them ALL THE WAY UP! They are still a little snug, but they went on! (and seriously, they make me feel like a a superhero) Those boots were my main motivation to start this, because I was so ashamed, and depressed that they were so awesome and so seemingly out of my reach...and they weren't, i just had to get off my butt and work towards them...and it really worked!136

I swam 3000 yards for the first time ever this morning and didn't have to stop and rest!79

Being told by my docter that I don't need to lose any more weight and that the BMI chart doesn't apply to me because I am quite muscular :O I am still classed as overweight on the charts ... Agreed on a maximum of 30 pounds more weight loss, which he feels is more for vanity, but hey I DO want to look my best. I never knew I was vain and always hid for photos, but now I ALMOST like how I look ><79

I was at a function last night and saw people that I haven't seen for a year. They kept commenting on how slim I had gotten since they last saw me. The thing is, I have actually gained a couple of pounds but I have been really working on lowering my BF% with some cardio and moderate weights. That was one of the best NSVs I have had in a long time. Shows all that hard work is paying off.47

My NSV doesn't really seem like much but was really positive for me. I struggle with getting to the gym enough during the week, the past few weeks I've been running outside instead of going to the gym. Well yesterday it was raining so I went in and the folks behind the desk said "hey, haven't seen you in here for a couple weeks, where ya been?" Doesn't seem like much but the fact that I go to the gym often enough now that they noticed when I wasn't there just made my day!
:drinker:126 -
Finished Day two if a C25K program yesterday. Never thought I'd be able to run that much at one time. Getting some initial weight off has for sure helped! I am on the road *hopefully* to being a runner
ETA: Got told this am I'm looking great and asked how much weight I've lost. I'll take it!50 -
In September 2011, my brother-in-law was badly injured at the Reno Air Races when one of the planes crashed into the crowd. He was in a coma for 6 weeks, and once he began to come out of the coma, he struggled hugely in trying to do even the simplest things, like sitting up on his own. As I watched him work so hard, I decided to take on a physical task that was a challenge for me. I wanted to honor his amazing attitude and commitment to becoming stronger by doing something that I had never been able to do -- and that was to do a pull-up. A few months later, he was beginning to lift small weights and to exercise regularly. I told him about my commitment to do a pull-up (I was still a long way away), and he challenged me to a race to see who could do one first. I agreed, convinced I would beat him. He was, after all, recovering from a serious brain injury and had also lost most of the fingers on one hand along with the loss of an eye. Happily, Bill managed to do his pull-up about 4 weeks later, in February 2012. Me on the other hand? I continued to struggle. But, I'm proud to announce that I finally did my pull-up about two weeks ago, and I've done several since then. I cried like a baby when I finally accomplished my goal. So, yes, it's a bit sad that it took me 2 1/2 years to do a pull-up, but it's one of my proudest accomplishments ever!214

Just yesterday I discovered that I can now fit into "One size fits all" stuff!
I love this one!39 -

My belt is one notch smaller and I'm no longer embarassed to tuck my shirt in! I actually like to do that now!43
-
I bought a dress last summer which fit me pretty snugly, but I wore it yesterday and it was loose! I could probably fit in the size smaller now :happy:31
-
i finally have visible collar bones and some nice chest definition going on! i've never had a visible "shelf" so this is exciting for me44
-
Not sure what NSV stands for, but I think this fits...but in class the other day I was able to do 15 push ups on my toes with knee tucks and walkouts! I made it through 3 rounds of those along w/ my other various exercises for that round! Yay me!56

I actually liked a picture I was tagged in. Sounds stupid but usually I cringe at any picture of me because I always feel like they expose all my negatives and make me look worse than I feel. But this picture, it was actually very beautiful and I felt that all my hard work really was paying off.73
