What did you have for breakfast this morning?

  • Usually I have:

1 Thomas' Light Multi-Grain English Muffin
    2 Egg whites, scrambled
    1 tbsp homemade guacamole
    2 tsp homemade salsa
1 cup of green tea with 2 tsp sugar

--spread the guac on the toasted muffin, put eggs on that and close it, then I have to basically spoon the salsa onto each bite, otherwise it makes a huge mess! :)

Only 207 Calories and keeps me full until lunch 4 hours later

    Today I had:

    1 Kellogg's Eggo Nutri-Grain Whole Wheat Waffle
    3/4 cup frozen blueberries
1 cup of green tea with 2 tsp sugar
-- after you toast the waffle, put the frozen blueberries on top and put it in the microwave for about 40 seconds. The blueberries turn into basically a syrup and it is so delicious!!

This was only 178 calories but I was hungry within about 2 hours. I probably should have had some sort of protien with it.
  • Leftover grilled salmon with a cabbage and cucumber salad. Filling and tasty.

Technically it's still morning, I usually don't eat this early, so I guess it was breakfast.

    4 egg omlette
    sun dried tomatoes
    onions
    garlic
    cheese
    salt

A handful of raisins for dessert.

Great thread. Gives me lots of new ideas. I had 2-3 small scrambled eggs with a jalapeño, green scallion and some garlic chives sautéed into the eggs. Veggies all came from my garden.
1/2 cup whole milk, used to cream my 2 super sized coffees. ( home roasted and French press). Yummy!
Tomorrow, it's more wilted greens (arugula, spinach, maybe chard). Arugula is bolting so we need to eat it up in the next few days.

Well, I actually had my breakfast last night (had to be at work at 2 am).
    Had:
a bowl of banana oatmeal (steel-cut oats cooked with sliced banana - I make a four-serving batch on a morning I actually have time to cook, then save the rest and weigh out servings to eat later) with non-fat milk
Mariage Frères Esprit de Noel tea (spiced black tea), sweetened with stevia crystals.

A bowl of oatmeal is pretty filling, and I also genuinely like it.
