Am I the only one that can't stand it when food mixes on my plate? Does that make me crazy? I can't handle my steak juice invading the green beans or peas invading the mashed potatoes. Might be just an ocd thing.....

My mother made the best baked chicken ive ever had in my ENTIRE LIFE. It was sooo good. I also had a plain potato, some black eyed peas, and 3 strawberries :)

My wife is the same way. Doesn't bother me,except for bread. Sometimes at work, {limited cookware} I will even mix my stir-fry, green beans and mixed veggies all together to cook them.

I had a salad, pork loin, stir-fry, green beans and mixed veggies. And I will have a slice of Key lime pie as soon as I get home from work.

key lime pie recipe please. looks pretty good.

Larro's low sugar Key lime pie:

    8 oz Lite Cool Whip
12 oz Key lime pie flavor lite Yoplait yogurt
1.3 oz Lime flavor Sugar free Jello
    1/4 cup water

Bring the water to a boil, pour into a mixing bowl and dissolve jello, stirring briskly. Add cool whip and yogurt, wisk it all together. Pour into 8X8 baking dish and put in the freezer.

You can make as many different kinds as there are jello and yogurt flavors. Right now we are making a lot of the Margarita flavor while Yoplait has it for sale.

    Hope you enjoy it, Larro

Tonight its pork chops, stuffing, and carrots. Tomorrow, homemade burritos (well, I'll probably skip the tortilla and just go for the filling), and Thursday is Cut up chicken tenderloins cooked in Zatarain's Yellow Rice with added corn and diced tomatoes (no salt added). Friday is whatever I end up with when we get to our vacation destination, followed by libations. Lots of libations.

Tonight's dinner is Chicken Chili in the crockpot from skinnyms.com. This is my first time making it so hopefully it turns out good. I love using my crockpot especially on days like today when I go from working my full-time job to squeezing my workout and dinner in a 2 hr window and then working my part time job for 4 tonight. I can't live without my crockpot.

I wound up using a 100 calorie bun because my eyes were bigger than my belly and I thought I was going to eat the second one. My husband used a onion hamburger roll! These were amazing!!

Those burgers look great. I'm a Dr Who fan too. I hate this long wait until the season starts.

Supper was really late tonight. I had an unplanned trip into work to setup for this weekend's wedding. But it was good when I got around to cooking it. Crowder peas, corn, grilled sweet potatoes and Larro Chicken.

Um...I was feeling lazy. Really lazy. So I had boiled chicken eaten right from the box in the fridge. I had a real meal for lunch, lentil stew, so I don't feel bad.

I am in Florence with my husband and kids while he teaches abroad. I also finally figured out PhotoBucket!

Tonight we had pizzas that we picked up from the local market and heated up in our apartment. Added fresh mozzerella and basil. Forgot to take a picture!

Last night I had Bistecca Fiorentina (t-bone steak) and a Biscotti Gelato Sandwich.

Squash stuffed "chicken enchiladas". Also, going to do something with amaranth greens. Maybe a spinach/artichoke style dip. I have 3 baby artichokes that are left over and need to be consumed. The amaranth is starting to look like Jurassic park. Red, almost fluorescent, giant plants.

Grilled turkey burger wraps, sweet potato, stir fry, corn, peas, Larro's summer salad, onion and tomato. All very good. The burgers, even though I made them rectangular, still didn't fit very well in the wrap. I'm going to try a burger roll one of these days.
