Not sure if this is a nsv but joining mfp in the first place is a victory for me and logging consistently for 2 weeks is a big deal as well. I have not felt this motivated since I dont know when, I think it's the friends cheering me on.

Yesterday, I was waiting in the deli of the grocery store and was holding the grocery basket draped over my elbow. Was pleasantly surprised to see an awesome-looking bicep. I held the basket that way the throughout the store even though the wire was digging into me. Ha! Heavy weightlifting really does pay off.

My jeans that I have kept for over 7 years , (I do realize how sad that is), actually fit and had some room! They were from a time in my life when I felt really good about myself. I really needed this right now. :)

It took 34 pounds before someone said something, BUT 3 people in one night all commented on how much better I look :)

I've had a couple recently. I can fit into 3 pairs of shorts that were way too tight last year.

And... this is a big one for me because it was a goal....

We have a huge baseball tournament here (Junior College World Series!) each year that we always go to and we like to sit clear at the top of the stadium. Last year, I would make it slowly up to the top, and then I had to just sit and try to catch my breath for what seemed like forever. This year, I was able to quickly climb to the top without being completely breathless. YAY!!!

Hi this is a great topic

    I have a few NSV'S

    1) Took children to the park today and played football for 1 hour solidly and didn't feel tired

    2) My boyfriend isn't very attentive he never notices a new hair cut etc but yesterday he saw me getting changed and was like wow you look amazing baby. loved this

    3) all my size 12 stuff now fits and even some 10 (uk size)

    4) A guy down the road said wow you have lost so much weight you look great and that made my day

So much more motivated this week and ive ordered new weights as a treat

I ordered a pair of leather pants in January. I was devastated that they didn't fit...not even close! Like, they wouldn't even come up over my hips. For some reason I kept them anyway. Tried them on today and they fit! Too bad it's too May and leather pants are no longer in season...

I went shopping today and fit into a size 6. Last time I bought pants I was a size 12. *happy tears*

At my son's school they took pictures of moms & kids holding the little mother's day gifts they made (freaking adorable, of course). I got a copy of the photo today --- and I think I look great! I haven't liked a photo I've been in in YEARS!

My NSV was this past Sunday playing ball hockey... realized my panties are too big. They don't stay up anymore ;):blushing:

Gotta buy new panties. I hoping to fill out my butt with muscle doing squats/deadlifts to make up for it tho!

I posted mine a few days ago but this past weekend marked my first sub 10 minute mile pace for running. I was shocked and super excited.

It's been about a month and a half since I started. This past Sunday night I put on some scrub pants for work that I had tried on 2 months ago and back then they were uncomfortably, disgustingly, skin-tight. They were baggy when I put them on!!! I've gone from 3x to a comfortable 2x. I look forward to the day when I'm in "regular" sizes! :)

My boss who hasn't seen me in awhile asked me if I lost weight along with some customers :) I bought a smaller size in pants a few months ago and had them perfectly hemmed (I was ecstatic that I fit into a smaller size). But a few days ago I realized I was stepping on my pants....so they must be falling down!!

For the first time in... well... EVER, I managed to finish Day 1 of Week 2 of C25K. I have tried many times before and always got stuck in week 1.
I ran for 90 seconds in a row, 6 times! Must sound pathetic to most of you but it is a big thing for me... gives me hope!
I CAN DO THIS!!! I am moving and I WILL get there!

Rallying from a lack of motivation this week I took the streets for the first run in 5 days. Feeling like this is the worst I've ran in forever, I got an unexpected boost. Running by a group, someone goes "wow, I can't wait until I get in great shape to run like that guy". Now I can't wait until my next run again. Maybe I'll run later. Lets Go!

A coworker today said I look like a lost weight... I know it doesn't seem like much, but I haven't really told anyone how hard I've been working at this, and it was nice to get the unsolicited compliment! Especially because I just hit 30lbs lost
