"If you don't get serious about this, I'll kick you."0

My boyfriend taught me this, and it's pretty much what's been getting me through and keeping me from becoming obsessive with my progress:
Slow and steady wins the race.
Also:
Motivation gets you started, habit keeps you going (not sure who said this, though).0 -
"Daaaaaang you look good."
I will keep telling myself this because every day I look better and healthier than the day before.0 -
It's not a clearly defined motto, but something like " if you can do it today, don't wait for tomorrow ".
There are too many people who plan to start diet and/or exercise " next, week because my fridge is full of junk food, when I can afford a gym, after the holidays, tomorrow because today I " deserve a treat "...... for me those are mostly avoidance tactics and I try very hard not to fall into that trap.
Btw: Great mottos everyone !0 -
No main one but some are "a year from now you will wish you did" and "when you feel like giving up remember why you started."0

"Resist! Resist! The outcome is much better then the seconds of pleasure!!"0 -
"Whether you think you can or you can't, you're right."0

Only way to fail is to quit! For sure.0

Mine is "Don't gain it back!!!"0

I actually have two mottos: `Patience is the key` and `Even if I will never have my dream body, it's still better than it used to be`
One of my fears before weightloss was that it was useless. I will lose a couple of kgs, but still be fat, still be far from girls that look good. But what I learned is that every kg lost helps... I may not have a beautifull / great body, but at least I'm not huge anymore. And some clothes look a lot better on me.
I guess it' frustrating to some point that no matter what, I will never be any closer to great looking girls I see in magazines and real life. It's like setting a goal but knowing that you cannot achieve it. But actually doing a little more for your body is still a small improvement.0 -
Keep moving forward.
(It's even on my foot so I don't forget )
