    Easy crockpot burrito filling:
    London Broil
    2 Tbsp Vinegar
1 Package of Taco Seasoning Mix
    1 Can diced Ortega Chiles
Put on low and cook for about 8 hours...until you can pull it apart with two forks. Serve with warm flour tortillas and refried beans, sour cream, green onions, salsa,olives...whatever you like to add to burritos
    My family loves this recipe.

Smithfield has a pork roast that already has garlic and herb seasonings in it. I just put it on low all day with green beans and carrots, maybe some potatoes and the seasonings from the pork flavor the veggies. Came home to that today. Smelled so good!

Mamafunky, would this work ok with frozen chicken? I can never seem to remember to take out and thaw, looking for the super easy and with frozen recipes.

I most always put the meat in frozen. Yes it works.

    Thanks for all the recipes!

Just a suggestion for anyone that has a slow cooker that runs hot (like mine, even though it's brand new!) I find that if I cook on the "warm" setting (the one it defaults to after your timer runs out-lower than "low")...it helps to not dry out/overcook the meat. Especially since I have to leave mine for at least 9 hours on work days.

I just recently tried this and it worked quite well.

    Aluminum foil
    Whole chicken
    Seasonings

Ball up 4 large squares of aluminum foil and set in the bottom of your slow cooker. Rinse, pat dry and season chicken. Place on top of foil. Let cook on high 4 hours or low for about 6. (Chicken was thawed, not frozen)

Thank you for posting this! I am going to cook this soon! We love getting a rostisserie chicken at Sam's, so this would be great to do our own version at home! Thanks again! :drinker:
Our local walmart is wonderful for rotisserie chicken and the girl there told me they use Lawrys season salt. Tried this for the spice in the crockpot with the foil and WONDERFUL.

    Crock Pot Stroganoff

    2 pounds stew meat
3 tablespoons worchestershire sauce (like lea n perins)
    salt pepper paprika to taste
    1 block cream cheese
    1/2 cup chopped onion
2 cans cream of golden mushroom soup

Combine everything but cream cheese in the crock on low for 6-8 hours. During the last 1/2 hour chop up cream cheese into 1 inch blocks and toss in the crock as well to melt.
Serve over rice, egg noodles or mashed potatoes.

I divide this into 8 servings and each is about 359 cals + your noodles, rice etc

SOOOOO GOOOD! My fam loves this
