Tell you what dude i will bet the ranch that if i lose 50 lbs in the next 55 days on the juice fast you will tell me its water weight that i lost

Your exact words. Exact. Quote. Then you get mad when people ask if you're planning to do exactly that? You need food, you're getting hangry.

Be sure to post how much weight you put back on in the next month! Fasting is not a weight loss option (which you will find out soon enough) so please don't continue to promote/carry mis information to those who might think it works. Fasting is good for cleansing and spiritual/ energetic rejuvenation but not weight loss!.

If any of you are gullible enough to believe that by consuming over 1500 calories per day and in excess of 3000 then you are as dumb as you look I wouldnt be surprised with that amt of calories if you havent gained at least 30 lbs by now

We don't know who you're talking to if you don't quote who you're responding to. There's a button next to reply that says "quote." If you use that, we'll know what comments you're responding to.

Some people shouldn't internet. I worry for them.

Maybe i can sink some sense into you I never implied that losing what i lost will stay off forever I realize that as soon as i go back to food weight will come back in some form. If you read my thread i said that its an easier transition going from a fast and then going into counting calories instead of the other way around because you learn to appreciate the value of small amounts of food after you come off the fast Does that make sense to you?
who are you talking to, bro?

Juice cleaned will always have haters..

I've always wanted to try one ever since I watched Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead on netflix. Congrats to you! I hope it makes transitioning to a diet which allows you to live a healthy lifestyle easier

I hope to tackle a one week juice fast as well, but first I need the money to buy a juicer.

FWIW, Health food stores will often loan juicers out...

Your profile name is healthyeating...and that's just the opposite of what you are promoting. MFP isn't for fad dieters...it's for those who want a healthy lifestyle.

Not sure I am understanding what you think you are saying but...

I consume more than 1500 calories per day and am still averaging at least 5lbs a month.

Actually I have increased my calories over the last few months...I got hungry! I think that happens when you get more active.

Are you calling all people dumber than they look if they eat more than 1500 calories?

Oh well...I have been called worse...

I said it was the way to go as far as quick fix never claimed to be an expert on nutrition

What are you quickly fixing? Later you say you know you will gain weight back when you start eating food. Why not just eat food all along?

And you comment on why many of us hasn't gained at least 30 lbs from somewhere in this thread. I've lost over 80 lbs eating between 1700-2300 all along and I'm a 5'4" 40 yr old female. I think it has something to do with science though and not quick fixes.

Maybe I'm just tired from caring for a newborn and all, but this statement makes absolutely no sense to me. None at all.

May I ask why you insist that 1400-1500 calories is essential for weight loss? I'm really interested as to where you heard that, because I know it isn't true for me. I'd constantly be hangry at that amount.

Sure I gained 30lbs over the last 9 months (a little more actually), but I'm pretty sure pregnancy does that. In fact I've already lost 20 of what I gained.

Why do i insist because i got my info from my doctor who is not only a practicing MD for the past 30 yrs but a holistic specialist and a certified nutritionist. If you can show me the same credentials i just might take your advice

If anyone has a problem with me asserting my first amend rights without the use of profanity but decides to be a little tattle tale and report me to the administrator then you have serious issues my friend. Go on any other forum on the net and read some of the hate thats posted Then you will see what real hate is all about

Must have been one of those water weight haters you were talking about earlier.
