Cant walk in heels if my life depended on it so this makes me realllllly jealous lol
I really like those heels. Want.0 -
Because I look hot as hell in my 4" heels. I have the height and add another 4" to it, all eyes are on me when I enter a room.0

i think high heels are ridiculous (slight fashion accessory that causes major discomfort? no spank you) but i could care less if someone wears them
^^This. For *me* they are ridiculous. I cannot walk in them, I'm "tall enough" for my liking, and my profession doesn't dictate I wear them (Birkenstocks and orthopedics fit in just fine in academia).
That said, they sure are purdy and make legs look beautiful. So, I certainly understand the appeal. I, alas, have no desire to wear them. I'll just admire them on other people.0 -
In good heels, that fit properly.......You don't sacrifice comfort, style, or anything else.
~and ~
they make our a$$es look amazing! Even if you don't squat it like it's hot!0 -
I wear heals quite often at work. Somehow just putting my heals on makes me feel more confident and powerful. On days I have big meetings I always wear my heals.
I think one of the differences between classy & trashy is what you wear with the heals. If you wear stilletos and a mini skirt then it's on the edge of trashy. Pair those same shoes with a power suit and you've got class.0 -

Yes, maybe, but perhaps not all of them are admiring you. Some are wondering if you are insecure and that's why you want people to look at you for artificial reasons.
On another note, I was at a wedding recently and most of the women had high heels but after a while they all had them in their hands....0 -
Those would look even hotter .......

I would like to know why fitness competitors wear the plastic heels. Why can't they wear a nice nude plate form pump? Or even red, or black? Why the plastic?
I've always wondered that myself. The only other people I see wearing those heels are strippers, and some hookers.
Speaking from a short person, heels give me length and they're actually not all uncomfortable. I also believe heels weren't originally made for women. If you look at old paintings and portraits, men actually wore heels, too.0 -

I am short (under 5'3), so wearing heels makes me taller (obvs) and makes me feel slimmer and sexier0 -
As a person, I don't see why it's any of my concern why someone wears heels...
It is also not my place to consider one may be a loose woman because she wears heels...
Slut shaming is really gross, kids. Don't do it.0 -

Really? You judge a person as insecure simply because they wear heels? You sound fun.0 -

I always thought it was because anything other than a clear heel detracts from the physique. Draw attention to the legs, no the heel. Nude pumps would be hot though. But stripper heels are just as hot. Either way, bikini and figure competitors are drool worthy.0 -
Why do women sacrifice comfort to wear these contraptions?
Never have, never will. Heels are not my style and I would never wear them to make someone else think I look good.
But, I don't care what anyone else does. If you like heels... knock yourself out. :-)0 -
I only own one pair of them and don't wear them unless there's a celebration of some sort (like weddings etc). Yeah they make my legs look nicer.. just don't want to wear shoes like that very often.0

They might be able to walk in those heels, but my legs are prettier!0 -

Rude much? Apparently.0 -
They are hottest when a woman keeps them on..0

I love heels and wear them almost everyday to work...Mine range from 3-5inches. Skirt length often times is the deciding factor on what is skanky and what is not. And if you've got the legs to work the heels, go for it... as long as you dont look like a new born baby calf walking in them. To me they are not uncomfortable but then I'm not walking the streets in them either. To each their own. Why judge someone on the shoes they wear? I dont judge men on the ties they wear or another womans choice to wear flats instead of heels0

I am not even officially 5'2" (5'1.75" lol) and I love my heels. Something I have figured out is if you buy cheap heels, or really any cheap shoes/clothes, you pretty much get what you pay for. I buy expensive running shoes made for my running form, why wouldn't I buy expensive heels that I pretty much live in because I wear them to work all day? Once I figured out to quit buying those cheap heels and invest in good pairs like Steve Madden or Gianni Bini's I have never had a complaint about the way my feet feel at the end of the day. I can go work all day on a Friday (10 hour days) and then go out all night and have no problems.
Also my other half is 6'1" almost 6'2" (yep pretty much a whole foot taller than me) so he loves when I wear heels because then I'm closer to his height and it's easier to lean down for a quick kiss or for a slow dance. Also he is an *kitten* and legs man so he really appreciates the other benefits of heels! Lol!:laugh:0 -

I'd wanna wear something like this:
Of course they'd make me like 6'2" but .0 -
I understand the appeal completely. They give women super powers.0

i'm obsessed with yanis marshall.
seriously.
he's so effing fabulous. nom nom nom nom0 -
I only wear heels on a special dress up occasion and even then they are not massively high.
Last time I wore "killer" heels was last year in Feb for my grandad 80th party. They lasted for the walking in the room, wow I love your hair/outfit/shoes bit and then the comfy uggs come on.
I vowed never again and I haven't.
I am a comfort over fashion girl.0 -
I don't care if they don't make sense to you. I love them. :smooched:
^^^LOVE THESE!!
I unfortunately cannot walk well in high heels but I love them. I wear them only to work where the surface level is flat and carpeted. They're a fashion accessory. We wear them because we like them, not because we're insecure or whorish.0 -

"Nude" in a figure competition would mean you have to get shoes in burnt orange :laugh:0 -

Love the blanket "6" heels are for hookers or strippers!" As if they're the only ones that can wear them.
I have plenty of 6" heels that are quite fashionable and I *gasp* also have the hooker-stripper-only CLEAR PLASTIC ones too  I honestly don't see anything wrong with them. I buy and wear what I like. Judge away if you must but I rock 'em.0
