Do i really need to give up carbs for a tight tummy?!? I was told this, but im not sure?

When I want to lean out, I do cut carbs. Works like a charm.0

Don't listen to them, they are wrong. The main reason lowering carbs makes you lose weight is because you are also lowering your overall calories. Same thing if you stay off them and re-introduce them at a later point -> you are just eating more calories again.
What matters is calories consumed vs. calories burned. You consume more than you burn > you gain. You burn more than you consume, you lose. Calculate your TDEE (calories to maintain your weight) and subtract 15-20%. Eat that amount, add some exercise and you'll be fine.0 -

GOD NO! I've had three kids, most of my diet consists of carbs, and my stomach is pretty damn tight. Love me all the carbs.0

Depends on what you mean by carbs .... and if you are Insulin Resitant or have Diabeties. There are really only 3 food sources .... carbohydrates, protein, fat. That's it. So NO .... do not cut carbs out of our meals. Just choose the better ones.0

No you do not. I just recently competed at around 5% bodyfat, consistently eating about 200gm of carbs a day. And I had abs...you can check my pics if you doubt it.0
