WOW!. My neighbours are all really normal..... No guns allowed in suburban Ireland (even by the cops) so have never witnessed a shoot out except on TV. This is a great topic!

Came home one day to find her vacuuming her grass. Guess she is a neat freak, they often wash their driveway and sidewalk as well as the road in front of their house. The vacuuming was a new one, we did take a picture as we were sure that no one would believe us lol.

just edited to add that we will take our neat freak neighbour over those shooting up the neighborhood.

Oh my goodness, I was at my friends house and his neighbor was vacuuming the backyard! My friend said that he did it all the time.

I've seen a woman vacuuming the pavement (sidewalk for the Americans) outside her house just around the corner from my work in London...

Our neighbor vacuums his back deck in his underwear, washes his vacuum cleaner with compressed air and a spray bottle and after his landscapers leave if they miss a couple spots he will go out with scissors and trim up the grass "so it's level" he says.

    OCD anyone?

I just moved and don't really know any of my neighbors yet, but, an old neighbor used to invite everyone over for air guitar parties. He was pretty darn good, too.

At my most recent neighborhood it was mostly the drug deals and use out in the open that bothered me. I'm a very open minded person, but I don't want my kids growing up around that stuff.

And then there was the banshee across the street. It was bad enough listening to her scream at her son for hours, but when she was screaming about wanting to hit him in the face and make his mouth bleed...it was too much. Heartbreaking really. If she's screaming about that I can't imagine what she did in private.

Ive always had pretty good neighbors..feeling pretty blessed right about now!!! LoL

My strangest neighbor story I can think of is as a kid, in my apartment building were two brothers who at my school were supposedly skinheads? Tattooed up with uh, questionable art (if you get my drift) and wore cammo pants with combat boots, shaved heads all that fun stuff..

One day my mom sent me to the car to get something, and on my way there, this huge dog comes out of nowhere heading straight for me, I freaked, got in my moms car just in time to have this dog trashing against the door, and the older brother was behind it, telling me its okay, he wont hurt me.

Maybe *IM the crazy neighbor, cause even though I was shaking and scared, I was like...oh okay! And got out of the car... He apologized profusely for his dog scaring me. But then also told me to never...ever tell anyone what happened or next time I wouldnt be so lucky. After that, whenever he saw me hed wave and smile at me, but if anyone else was around hed give me the finger or scowl at me. That was pretty weird to me LoL

I had an upstairs neighbor that used to play loud music late at night. One time I went up there to ask her to turn it down and she answered the door in her underwear. She would also leave her stereo on blast when she wasn't at home. Luckily she moved after a few months.

Almost every weekend, we used to see a tow truck bring our neighbor & car home (about 3:00 a.m.). The next morning, she'd get up, jump in her car and away she'd go. I think she had a little alcohol problem. But at least she was safe about it!

Neighbor used to throw dcon packets into my yard when i wasn't home to try to poision my dog.

But he also enjoyed having loud sex with a wide range of single mom's and other MILFs in the neighborhood, and since my upstairs bedroom window could see into his bedroom, he made up for it.

I sure hope someone called Child Protective Services on her!

Maybe e she walked them early in the morning..........

trust me, this lady wasn't walking those dogs ever. She could barely walk and the only time she ever left her house was around 1 pm for fast food.

OMG my husband's exact text to me this morning: "I must be a f...ing hillbilly. I just washed my whole car with the windshield cleaner wand at a gas station. I feel like Tommy Boy. "Went a little heavy on the pinetree perfume there, kid?""

We had a downstairs neighbor that had just moved in and would bump loud music while we were trying to sleep. One night my husband went down to ask her to turn it down and her front door was wide open and she was in the laundry room, completely oblivious that he was there, in her bra and underwear.... He just turned around and came back to our apt.

LMFAO!! Does your husband have a sister in South Florida by any chance, she may have been who I saw that day ;) hehehehe!

For full disclosure though, when I was 20, I was at my friends house when it started raining...I was like, quick! gimme a sponge and your dish soap! And she joined me in helping me wash my car while it was raining. I was super broke, and paid for water so I hadnt washed my car in forever...it seemed as logical as it gets.

When we were done, her super cute next door neighbor came out, introduced himself , said him and his friends were watching us and wanted to invite us over for a beer. She ended up dating one of his friends even. Ah to be young again!!!
