I felt anxious today and felt the impulse to binge, and I was able to breathe through it and did not binge. This is actually the first time I've been able to resist it. I really appreciate all the support I get from this community.9

Pulled on a size 14 pair of jeans today. It's been -years- since I've been this small.1

Today I tried a size 12 (size 8 US) bikini in a store and didn't projective vomit all over the changing room mirror.
I actually BOUGHT it, and may even wear it come summer. I've never worn a bikini in public in my 41 years of life...but am just about ready to unleash myself on the unsuspecting masses, lumps, bumps and all.

I bumped into a guy I hadn't seen for a couple of years. His opening line was, Dave you have lost so much weight - you needed to lol3

I deadlifted 200 pounds yesterday! :happy:2

Me too! :drinker:0 -
I jogged [at a slow pace] around my entire neighborhood circle [about .70 miles] without stopping. I felt so proud of myself. I did it twice, but I alternated it with walking. I walked one circle, then jogged the next-- did this twice.2

Just as I punched out to leave work yesterday, a very expensive project went hideously wrong (not my fault but I had to help try to deal with it) and I ended up working an extra hour just doing whatever was necessary even though I was off the clock. Tempers were short and things were NOT good. When I finally left work I said "well, gonna go home and drink", and I meant it... although I've sworn off alcohol during the week, I was just going to pick up a little ol' bottle of chilled white wine at the convenience store on my way home and do some "chilling" of my own. I had 100 calories left over and there was no reason not to, except that I know how I am about wine and I knew I should keep to my weekends-only rule, no matter how stressed I was, since it's a major factor in my weight loss efforts. I ended up making a right turn instead of a left turn: home, not the store. I don't regret it, and I'm proud of my willpower... I really love white wine!!10

recently I realized I'm SATISFIED with what I see in the mirror and that the rest of the toning and muscle growth is "nice to have" but no longer my top priority.4

I grabbed a shirt that I've worn to yoga tons of times before, but last night it was riding up like crazy when I was in downward dog. I ended up having to tuck it into my yoga pants (a super hot look, I'm sure). As embarrassed as I was, I guess that means that I'm losing more around my midsection than I thought if there isn't enough to keep it in place!!1
-
I had to shorten the chest strap on my heart rate monitor. I couldn't figure out why the signal kept cutting out!2
-
Just bought a size smaller jeans the other day. Washed and dried them first (to get rid of all that extra dye)....put them on straight out of the dryer zipped them up and no muffin top!2
-
I could zip my boots up. Not Wide calf, but regular sized boots.5
-
I went on a cruise and focused on protein, veggies and fruits. I splurged on desserts but only on ones I really wanted or I just had fresh fruit. HUGE NSV for me!5
-
I completed a 28 day beginner squat challenge that I found on the MFP blogs, and noticed that I got rid of the "thigh jiggle". And my size 5/6 jeans are not skin tight anymore.3

kind of a weird female-only one. But my most recent NSV is the realization that I now have a dozen different types/styles of bras & underwear. For years I only had 1-2 types of bra, and ALL the exact same underwear from Lane Bryant's Cacique line. Now I have a ton of different stuff and when I get dressed in the morning I actually "have to" (not that I mind) think about which style will work best with whatever I am wearing. For example I'm busty and today I'm wearing a dress that's a bit tight in the bust and meant for someone with less up top, so I'm wearing a bra that I don't think flatters the girls much...but it works perfectly for this dress. For me this is also an NSV because I can buy bras in a lot of different stores, and panties in almost ANY store (not just size wise, but for different colors, styles, nice fabric, etc)...whereas before I just ordered online from Lane Bryant and never even tried other brands.4

I just said no to Ice cream Cake. That never happens!2

My 18 year old daughter said, "Mom those jeans look awesome! Are they 'NYDJ?'" and my answer was... "No, they're 'YDL'!! ( your dad's Levi's)." :laugh:1

I have one I've meaning to take a pic of and share... I can hold the crow pose now (yoga!). I first tried this about 7 months ago (and 25 pounds ago) and could NOT hold it AT ALL. I've continued to try off and on as I've been getting lighter & stronger and BOOM about a couple weeks ago I was able to hold it for over 10 seconds! I have been able to do this several times since then and am going to continue to work up to a handstand.5

My xxl work uniform shirt (which runs small according to my boss) was getting really loose so I traded it for an xl which was still too loose... so now I'm in a large!2
-
Kinda silly, but I was bored and just took a random pic and sent to my bestie (been friends our whole lives, so she's very blunt about my weight, just as I am with her). She sent me a text back saying that she can really tell in the face that I've lost weight! She never tells me that, so SCORE for me lol.2

These are all awesome NSV! big smiles for Sunday, I love it!!
My most recent NSV was running 3miles without any walking, did it in 28min! Yay!!1 -
Survived one more Bootcamp Cardio Class.
Four weeks in a row. Every week a tiny improvement.2 -
Today my calories on here went down for the first time!2
-
I did 1.5 miles yesterday in 19:28. That's just under a 13 min/mile average! :glasses:2

I pulled out an old pair of jeans this morning. I had given up on them a good few months ago when they became too tight so, although I can't see it in myself, the scales say I've lost weight so assumed they must fit me by now..
First time I've uploaded a picture so hope it works..1 -
I now believe the scales!12 -
Went to church this morning with my whole family (inlaws etc), usually it's just me, hubby and our son. A friend of the family joined us who hasn't seen me in a while. She walked right past me in the pew to get to her seat, sat right beside me, then a few moments later asked my MIL "where's Angie?" I was sitting right beside her. She was shocked. It was awesome.8
-
I was getting ready for church this morning. In the shower I was thinking how I wished I had some khakis because it is cold out so I didn't want to wear a skirt. I remembered that I had khaki pants that have been too tight for awhile, as in unable to snap. I geared myself up for disappointment while trying them on. Turns out my hunch was right- they don't fit- WAY TOO BIG! wahoo!4

I love reading these! So inspiring
I can go up and down stairs without pain in my knees.2
