Going for the Oh man... oops, not Banks, sorry...
Oh, in the interests of keeping this friendly, can we all avoid any lengthy discussions that might prompt hard feelings, and simply list our choice? Mucho Thanxo!

I agree, friendly debate can turn ugly quickly.

I'd say "Pat Paulson For President" but the young whippersnappers in the bunch will have no idea who/what I'm talking about. :noway: Now those among us who will admit to being in the middle-aged set (admit mo mamoi's taobh <my grandma's......behind>.......given the rather adventerous life I've lived up to this point, I'm profoundly GRATEFUL to be turning 52 in a few weeks!) will  at the memories that "Pat Paulson For President" brings up. You younguns go ask your parents and if they're also younguns........your grandparents
  • Obama, no hesitation.

  • Voltaire said, "I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it."
  • No hesitation here either. Gotta be McCain.

  • Nope, no way. Been burned too many times.

I do lots of research (it is what I'm trained to do) and make a spreadsheet and choose the one who agrees with me on the most issues - and I look the most at voting records - what has this person DONE rather than what does this person say.

But I vote in private and hold my secrets.

    OBAMARAMA!!

I loved it- at the fair, the McCain booth was staffed by all older folks, mostly men who, when asked if they could direct me to the Obama booth, said "There's no one there." But when I found my own way to the Obama booth, they were all younger, more women and totally stoked to be there! I love the excitement of the Obama supporters :)

No more of the same- it's time for big change!

I like this website. I would probably vote for McCain, but I got matched with Obama.

I would have voted for Ron Paul if he was still in the running, I thought the Fair Tax looked interesting. I guess it'll be Bob Barr now, although I know he won't have a chance because no one wants to vote for a third party candidate and think their vote doesn't count, so it's always a Dem or Rep in office (I'm not fully against either, I just think Libertarians are the best of both hehehe). :grumble:

I think I am sitting out this election as well, although I generally vote Republican.

EDIT: According to the calculator though, I should vote for Obama.
