Hey Hey there!! Glad there was a thread for this. Thanks Maggie for emailing me about it. I think I love BFBM out of all. Im so glad we're here to kick butt together... I cannot wait for this summer!!

I felt so guilty taking the rest day today, even though it was part of the schedule! I had been hoping to at least get some cardio in, but the day was so busy with the family, that I didn't work out at all.
I can't wait until I get home from work tomorrow and can do the Slimdown!!!
I know that I also consumed too much sodium today and didn't drink my water. Grrr. Today was a bad day for me. Dusting myself off and getting refocused tomorrow.

Good for you already finishing up today's workout! I totally agree a rest day is very much needed! What is with all of us feeling guilty about not exercising I feel that way too! Must mean were are doing something right and/or it's a fear that we won't get back on track after 1 day off? Maybe we are just so used to the shred and no days off! lol0 -
I find it really strange doing LVL 1 of 30DS!! lol Im like "yeah yeah I got this"! lol But I cant do the full push-ups yet lol ( I still do the girly version). And I agree with Val...doing this with some awesome rocking ladies, makes it triple as fun to do it!!0

im glad i got u ladies on this challenge ...once we finish this one we should do the six week six pak with shred it with weights for 30 days...0

Woohoo! Day 8 of the Slimdown is done! :bigsmile: I still need to do something else today cardio-related if I can manage to sqeeze it in before bed. I still feel so bad about yesterday. I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt guilty! :happy:
L2 tomorrow! It's going to be really strange doing that workout again! I'm looking forward to it, though. Ugh, the planks!!
Don't worry, Ileana--I'm still doing the girly push-ups, too! I really should make myself move to the advanced ones, but I just don't feel like it yet. Push-ups used to be my weakness. Before the Shred, I could barely do 5 modified ones!! Now, I can do about 30 before I collapse. I take that as a victory. One day I will be doing the "real" ones. :laugh:

hehe guess what ladies..i still do the modified push ups too! I tried going into full push up mode and was able to crank out ahhh 2, but I wasn't able to go all the way down :grumble:
Day 8 done, I find it weird going back to lvl 1 too! Great work today ladies! We are all doing so wonderful!0 -

OMG i forgot how hard level 2 was, tried with 5 lbs tha lasted not even 1 min ..lol used 3lbs ...lol0

Lmao ooooo lordy!! Now Im scared! :ohwell: I'll try and alternate between 5lbs and 2lbs lol I dont have any other weights lol. This is gonna hurt!!

I started the 30 day shred (level 1) on Saturday (2/19)... I was very sore on Sunday morning and did a little yoga to soothe my muscles. Day 2 of the shred and I felt so energize afterwards.... got dressed and went to work with a smile.0

Question: Does anyone know how many calories you burn doing each level of the shred?0

Ok, I think I have a girl crush on JM...she's even invaded my dreams. Not kinky...but still...freaks me out.
Level 2 today: I could actually do the full walkout pushups instead of just holding the plank!!!! And I did those squat (that word looks really funny to me) thrust thingies too!! Just the modified plank jacks though. I had enough flubbler flying around by that time in the work out, lol.
Tomorrow -- Trouble Zones. Last time I did the whole thing instead of the quick version. I really need the ab work, mine are so weak.0 -

girl after this 30 days is over we starting 6 weeks 6 pack , hope u in ...lol i just got mine in the mail today , i got that one and shred it with shred....also she got a new one coming out march 1, i pre orderred it we will have to do that one too...NO PAIN NO GAME....summertime here we come...lol0 -

Returning to L2 today reminded me that I'm not Jillian Michaels yet. :frown: I had to take a couple of 5 second breaks. I felt like I was dragging for some reason today. It bummed me out. So, I did a JM Last Chance Workout right after L2 to redeem myself and did a whole lot better in that workout. Don't know why I was so tired during L2.... Thinking of you guys and how we're in this together made me push through it. :laugh:

Great job!!!! Don't worry... I'm becoming obsessed with JM. I took my daughter to the bookstore yesterday and happened to go down a diet and fitness aisle. I stopped and smiled at a JM book. My daughter looked at me and I sighed, "Oh, I love her. She's my role model." :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:0 -
