Hi everyone. Just touching base. I hope everyone's weekend is going well. It's a long weekend in our neck of the wood ... we celebrate "Family Day" on Monday. I love long weekends. How is everyone doing? I've been fighting a bit of the winter blues. A few more sunny days like today would be awesome. Take care all and post to let us know how you're doing. Spring is just around the corner.

So excited to start the mini-challenges :-)
I didn't log mine for yesterday so here it is:
I didn't workout b/c it was my rest day so no calories burned...i was under my calories...and I know I did not consume my 64 oz of water...NOT A GOOD DAY! My water bottle was in the dishwasher and then I just forgot about it...no water bottle=not enough water
I have the day off today and i'm sitting on my butt doing school work ALL DAY...still watching what I eat and working out around 5ish (like a typical Monday) and I'm drinking my water since the dishwasher ran this morning
Will post again later...good luck everyone...let's kick it this week...no more disappointing weeks!!!0 -
I think we should also be careful about how much we're under our calories. I don't think it's healthy if you're at a 1200 calorie diet (like me), to be much lower than that. You don't really want to starve your body..0

im returning back to MFP after leaving florida....big mistake...now im in the gym 7 days week in punishment for my 6 month withdrawl...lol
the fitness gym keeps me from doing any yoyo diets...and the MFP keeps me in focus daily...sometimes hourly especially with the smart phone APPS...im so thankful at my age i do not look my age and feel young but its never too late to get in the game or recommitt...fighting the winter blaus....

Good Morning everyone
I hope everyone is doing well on the Mini Challange
I am going to try and drink my water and stay under my calorie goal, but I dont think I will be able to do the excersise portion just yet.
I have been sick for the past three weeks and I am finally on the mend. Had a very severe inner ear thing going on..bad, bad, bad vertigo and nausea. You would think that that would have helped me to loose weight and not eat, but it worked just the opposite..ugh..I ate to ease the nausea and it didnt help that I was on prednisone for a week..LOL
Anyway, I am so excited to get back to normal and back on track again.
First step..back to work tomorrow and a my routine

I think I'm getting the hang of this website. I didn't know when you log your exercice it adds your calories burned to your daily calorie total. I would have known this alot sooner if I ever exercised. LOL. I've likely been way under my calorie goal because I never log any exercise whatsoever. So for yesterday I was way under. Time will tell on weigh in day. Boy do I still have alot to learn. Counting calories is a little more involved than I thought.0

Def no less than 1,000 NET calories for a woman, and that's if you are eating super clean and getting all your nutrients. I'd say between 1100 and 1200 would be a safer net. I assume you're pretty close to your goal and a relatively small girl from your pics/ticker so your deficit won't be as much as most people's. If you are going by MFP, there is already a deficit included in your daily calories so you should be eating most if not all of your exercise calories back.0 -

Hey everyone! I just stumbled on this 7 day exercise challenge on the boards. Maybe we could do this one next if we need a change of pace. Every day we post our new exercise log and put a 7 day calorie burn goal for ourselves, something really challenging!
Here's what it would look like...
Calorie Burn Goal: 3,000
Sat: 500 calories burned (Running 6.0 mph)
Sun :calories burned (how they were burned)
Mon: calories burned(how they were burned)
Tues:calories burned(how they were burned)
Wed:calories burned (how they were burned)
Thurs:calories burned (how they were burned)
Friday:calories burned (how they were burned)
Weigh in (Friday morning like we do now):
