Hi guys - I'm SO sorry I disappeared. :frown: I was having trouble keeping up with everything and this kinda dropped off my radar. The longer it went, the more embarrassed I got, which made me stay away. But... I'm still here. Unless someone else has taken over chart-duty, I'm happy to post an updated chart tomorrow evening. I don't have time to make one for all the weeks I missed, but I'll do one as of this week's weigh-in.
I sort of faltered there for a few weeks in mid-February, but I'm back on track and 8 lbs away from the goal I set for the end of this challenge. I've lost 12 lbs so far this year!

I had a sodium filled weekend and TOM came a week early. I've been stuck in a rut apparently. I went and got my skinny on at the gym for almost 2 hours this afternoon. It felt great! Plus I kicked sodiums *kitten* the last 2 days. So I'm SURE the scale will sigh in relief the next time I step on it. I'm not updating my ticker unless it screams at me again. So for a few more days I'll leave it and then change it if need be. Hopefully change will be in the loss column. :drinker:
I also reset my goals for the Easter Challenge. My goal was to be at 175 but that would be over 25 lbs lost from now till then. I would love to see that, but realistically? I'm not on the Biggest Loser, so I don't see that happening! So I'm shooting for 185 lbs by Easter.0 -

I plateaued for a while. For some reason this last week, my body decided to let go of what it was holding onto. At the end of the day, if calories eaten is less than calories burned we'll lose weight. I kept telling myself that but when it wouldn't come off even though I was meeting my net calorie targets, I got really discouraged. Of course after this big week I was able to raid the boxes in my closet and got to donate my larger clothes and can fit into a lot of my older, smaller clothes so that renewed my motivation at just the right time.0 -

When no one responded to my last post, I wasn't sure if I should make the new chart or not, but since I've gotten at least one official "you're forgiven", I'll make one up this week. (Thanks Mary (msh0530!))
On a side note - I started MFP in the fall of 2009 at 227 pounds - I am officially 50 lbs down from that!! (My highest weight is probably closer to 230/235, summer of 2009.) I wish it hadn't taken me quite so long - most of 2010 was spent going up and down, but I did end up with a small loss that year and am definitely back on track now. I still have a ways to go, but am excited at hitting this milestone. :drinker:
FYI - for those wondering, I'm vertically challenged, only 5' 3.5", so that's why my goal weight is 130. I know that's low for a guy - but I'm short for a guy! :laugh: I get asked about my goal frequently.0 -
Well,I'm changing my end of challenge goal from 137 lbs to 135 lbs. I have an appointment for a tummy tuck consultation set for April 26th and it is my fervent desire to lose 10 lbs by then. I'm not going to actually have the surgery until June, but I really want to be back at my pre-pregnancy (2008 and 2005) weight in time for the consultation. So the goal is to lose on average around 1.5 lbs a week (which is about what I've been doing). :bigsmile:0

@Sugar_Apple - don't feel discouraged. it might be water weight, or muscles, etc. let's see what your weight will be next WI! good job on working out so much!
