My goal is running a minimum of 5 miles, three times a week. I'm participating in a 5 mile race on May 1st and want to be able to do it without stopping to walk.
Today I did 5.29 miles, but paused the treadmill twice briefly to take a sip of water, mop some of the sweat off my face, and fit a rebellious hair barrette that kept slipping.0 -
5.32 done today! Let's get going!0

I just found this challenge tonight. I would love to give this a go, it should be a good motivator. I am going to try for 50 miles. Will start tomorrow though since it is already pretty late on the April 1st.0

I think 40 is going to be a little low for me. I was at work last night, i work in a medical clinic so am constantly running around, and I walked two miles .0

You can always raise it to something more challenging. That's what we're here for :happy:
I ran 5.3K on a trail today. It's harder than running on a track but more fun, I really enjoyed it. :bigsmile:

Just jogged 5k around the park by my house. Got pretty much every terrain except sand! Some grass, some (muddy) dirt road with tree roots, some gravel, some pavement.0

I'm not feeling to good today but I took my pooches for a 3 mile walk! My road is just getting dry of mud from 40* and wind but the weatherman said we are to get MORE snow!!!!0

Missed yesterday due to travel but back in the swing of things today - add 6 miles for me (3 on my C25K route and another 3 with the dogs on the beach) Thanks!!!!0

I know I'm a couple days late but I'm going to join this challenge. I've walked 2.75 miles the last two days. I think I will make my goal be 60 miles this month. I will go create my ticker now. Good luck evereyone and get your butts moving!0

You may have noticed I changed my profile pic to me as a little kid. Remember what it was like to grab a group of kids in the neighborhood and play baseball in the field? Tag? Hide and go seek? Jump rope? Relay races? Riding bikes? All awesome exercise without us even knowing it. What about the days off no bills, work, stress? Let's embrace our childhood and change our pics (for atleast one week).0

Managed 3 miles of yard work today. Oh what fun! cleaned all flower beds and picked up sticks from the yard and raked gravel out of yard back into drive after a long winter of snow.
Maybe tomorrow we will get the rest of the Christmas lights down after all it is past April Fool's Day. :laugh:0 -
Well I managed to get another 1.75 miles in this evening. Hopefully I can stay motivated throughout the rest of the month!!0

8 miles on the treadmill this morning.
And, by the way, when you watch season after season of "House" back-to-back, you realize that a) House almost always has his breakthrough idea about a case when he's in a totally unrelated conversation, and b) they recycle guest stars as patients. e.g., The woman who was a deadbeat drug addict that Foreman killed with a mistake in season 2 or 3 turned up in season 5 as a brilliant cancer researcher who left her research to find happiness. >Sigh< But, it keeps me occupied on the treadmill.
