Didn't go through all other suggestions, but I add one of the Green Giant Steamers (with cheese sauce) to a can of tuna, after I have heated the steamers per directions. Mix it up - can do the same with chicken!0

I know you said other then with mayo.. But I like to put my in those corn or wheat tortilla shells.( I put my in the oven for like 2 mins) lettuce, diced tomato and anything else you might want. I also drizzle a little fat free ranch dressing on there. Taste great!0

Today I had a tuna sandwich on some Low Cal whole wheat bread...
But I have never liked Mayo... so I just kinda invented something on the spot..
I used a whole can of tuna... 2 hard boiled egg whites... a little pepper and 5 tsp of spicy mustard
All mixed together... Should've made two sandwiches but I only made one and then just ate everything that fell out with a fork.. lol
It was super easy and yummy.. and that's how I approach lunch. lol
I would recommend just being creative with things that you know you already like...0 -

Tuna Noodle Casserole (try to be healthy with it!)
2 cans Tuna drained
2 lbs of whole wheat pasta (usually calls for wide egg noodles but this works too!)
2 cans of mushroom soup (i use reduced sodium)
sprinkle sharp cheddar cheese
boil water and make the noodles as directed on bag
drain noodles...add tuna and soup to the noodles mix well until creamy (may add small amount of milk at this time)
heat oven to 300 degrees put noodles tuna and soup into casserole dish
sprinkle the cheese on top of the casserole and (optional!) french fried onions (OPTIONAL)
bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown on top and cheese is melted
I use sharp cheddar since a little bit goes a long way in taste!
This recipe feeds 4-6 people
It's a family favorite in my house!! Works great for Lent too!0 -

My version of a reasonably healthy tuna melt is:
1 can of tuna drained and flaked
1.5 Tbsp light mayo (can you softened cream cheese if you like)
2 Tbsp low-fat shredded cheddar cheese
salt and pepper
1 light english muffin split (I use Healthy Life)
Preheat the oven/toaster oven to 350 and lightly toast the muffin halves. While toasting the muffin mix the tuna, mayo and salt and pepper to taste. Divide tuna mixture between the two muffin halves and top with 1 Tbsp of shredded cheese each. Return to the oven and heat until cheese melts. The whole thing comes in at around 330 calories.
I also like Hungry Girl's Broc 'N Ginger Tuna Bowl
3 cups broccoli florets
1 can of tuna, drained and flaked
2 Tbsp low-fat sesame ginger dressing
Steam the broccoli and toss with tuna and dressing. It's around 270 calories depending on your dressing of choice.0 -
