Great job everybody!
...what I l like about myself...
1} I make time for ME to workout..even if it's after the kiddsos go to bed
2} I do not have to eat a piece out of every cake or pie that comes into the office breakroom..
3} I am a motivator to my family to eat a little better (my 3 year old daughter loves salad!)
4} I have no regrets donating clothes that are getting too big...no keepers for the "just in case"...I do not want to go back where I came from..
5} Glad that I joined MFP to meet all you AWESOME motivators...You CAN do this!0 -

1. I love my super blue eyes
2. I love that now I dont sit in front of the mirror every morning telling myself I cant go to class because I look like a cow.
3. I love the attention I'm now getting from customers (especially the males) at my job
4. I love that I actually enjoy working out, and I'm no longer embarrassed to do so!
5. I am so happy I finally can , as my mom says, eat to live, instead of living to eat!

Five things I like about ME
1. I love the example I am setting for my family teaching them about being healthy
2. I love how I feel after a great workout, dripping sweat and feeling awesome it's such a rush.
3.I like how much my confidence is building and I am not ashamed anymore that I am fat, but rather proud that I am taking the steps to make a better me.
4.I like how different my mood is now, I am so much happier since I have started this weight loss journey (ps I am sure that pleases other too haha)
5. I like (and am very very proud) at my level of determination and will to get this done. I never knew I had it in me to do this. Especially since it is something for me. I mean yes,sure my family is effected by it, but this is for ME I never do Anything for myself. And to dedicate myself to doing this it just shocks me some days.0 -
I was out of town on Friday so no weigh in for last Friday. But I went to my weight loss support group this morning and had a loss of 2.5 lbs. so I'm on my way down!!!! And for the challenge this week:
1. I like the positive attitude I've had since the first of this year. It's quite different from the past.
2. I like the fact that it's getting easier to say "No" to sweets and that is a good thing.
3. I like the fact that my clothes are getting so loose that I need to go through my clothes and pick out some smaller ones that I've been hanging onto "just in case."
4. I enjoy it when people ask "Have you lost weight?" In the past it wasn't always because I'd lost weight but that I was wearing clothes that were just too large and too loose.
5. I actually enjoy planning my food diary in advance. It keeps me on the right track and takes away temptations.
I will have a weigh in for Friday the 15th.0 -
I just can't get my head in the game lately. Grrr...0

I guess I better do the challenge... I've been putting it off for a couple of days
1. I like that no matter what my weight has been, I have always been a confident person and overall had a positive self image.
2. I like how good I feel after I've had a good workout session.
3. I like that I'm getting better about accepting compliments.
4. I like that I'm making healthier choices and no longer have to force myself to make them, they are becoming a normal part of my routine.
5. I like that even though I'm having a hard time getting the scale to move, I'm overall feeling better and can feel my clothes fitting better.0 -

2. I like my frugal and bargain hunting nature.
3. I like that no matter how difficult life may become that I'm always able to bounce right back.

I'm in another longer challenge where we have to post progress pics... I just don't think I am there enough to be confident to post any yet... err.... I will find some more clothed before... but my bare midriff one will not be shown until there is a HUGE difference! lol (No worries, I wont make you do that! This is too short of a challenge for photos of changes!)

5 things I like about me...
1. I like that when I want a snack I crave yogurt and fruit (new ....used to crave cakes, etc).
2. I like that when I get up in the morning I WANT to go walk the trails- I no longer have to "talk myself into it".
3. I like that I'm a devoted, loving wife even after almost 22 years together.
4. I like that I'm a great mom.
5. I like that I am working hard to continue my education so that I can try to get a better job.0 -

@Picky_Nikki - I think we are in the same challenge that is requesting the before and after pics. I am not ready to show the midriff photo either. It is pretty scary. I will wait until the end as well. I will reconsider at the midway point. But definitely not now!0 -

i am not expecting any loss this week :grumble: last weekend i over indulged and didnt even drink a single glass of water. weighing myself monday was a shock to say the least!
ive tried really hard this week to push that number back down, and ive managed to get 218.8 the past 2 mornings. so close!! ive been under calories and also been having atleast 7 glasses of water a day, and this had helped. i am constantly peeing, ive used so much toilet paper LOL
if im lucky i may make it down to last weeks weight, no loss is better than a gain!
although, big fat NSV!! i tried on a pair of jeans bought just after christmas 09. they were snug then. now, they're barely hanging onto my hips i made it my profile shot :laugh:0 -
Definitely scared for tomorrow's weigh in. I've actually done really well all week, but according to this morning's scale, I'm up another pound. Sigh...
But I know that TOM is right around the corner, so it may be that. Plus, I'm really trying ot eat back my exercise calories, realizing that I'm usually eating way too little, so I've read that when we start eating back the exercise calories, it's common to gain at first, but that it will bring a big drop once the body adjusts. I'm HOPING for that.
Trying to get all of my protein in and eat "clean" as much as possible.0 -

This week has not been good for me I have been more up than down and this is new for me since I have started this journey I have been down almost everyday til this week I have changed my goal to 1/2 lb hoping that will help some. The last couple days I have been seeing a decrease so hopefully that continues. I don't know if I will make it to the 130's by the end of the month or not at this rate.

The scale started moving again after last Friday's weigh in! Not sure I'll make it to my goal, but if I lose another pound or 2 I'll be happy with that.

I had a "BAD" day yesterday but am still down the 2 pounds that I hoped to be for this particular week. Today is a new day and a new chance to begin again; correctly!!! And I'm taking it.
