OP - I suggest that you seek psychological help to examine your relationship with food.
if your body and psychological mind, are not all parts of 'you', what are you?!

Here is what you need to do.
Go lift heavy for a while.0 -
How tall are you? 158 is pretty small for a guy. How much more did you want to lose?0

Seek professional help.
It sounds as if you have developed a hatred of food, maybe because you hate the feeling of anything having control over you other than you. Fact is, these leptin issues you speak of are one sign your body is giving of your need of food. It happened to me when I ate too low, for too long, while working out intensely.
As for proof you cannot survive without food, ask the many anorexics who have died from not feeding themselves over the decades.0 -

Your body fat is going to drop in time once you continue to do the right things to gain strength, burn fat, and eat at the point that your body doesn't need to store fat. Starting different threads isn't going to help you solve the same problem.

Why would you have cheat meals if you don't think you need food?0

I 100% agree!! The advice in that thread though was that he eat at maintenance or higher and focus on lifting. He fought back on that as well. He needs to lose all his weight right now!!!

i didnt mention 'lean ripped cut' i just said you're a healthy weight... which you are.0 -
You are 18 years old. The other child at your school is also, presumably, 18 years old. In many ways you're grown, but in many other ways, your body is still growing. If you talk to a physician, he/she may be able to run blood tests to evaluate your hormones levels. Diagnosing yourself via the internet is bound to make you believe you're not perfectly normal and healthy.0

How do you know your leptin needs fixing? Did you have it tested through blood work?
If you think you have a leptin deficiency, then go to the doctor and find out.

What do you want your do for to tell you?
I don't want to discourage you from going, because you really should, but don't be surprised if he tells you your views are unhealthy.0 -
