I intensified my work out at the gym this week so my weight went up a pound. Suspect it's water weight.0

If you don't lose any and your weight goes up, that's okay too. You're body exchanges fat for muscle for the first week or two when you begin to exercise again, when means get out a measuring and you can keep track that way too. Any progress is always good progress.
