I ate my plate of pancakes with extra butter and extra syrup before I could snap a pic, but that plate, and four mugs of coffee with peppermint mocha creamer have me 20% of the way there. I got this, yo. ;)

I'm confused... Nobody is trying to eat at goal today? Because it's one of two "treat" days a year? I'm afraid I'm developing a food phobia, and I was planning to eat as little as I could to stay in goal lol. It would be nice to not think about what I am mindlessly eating for the day.... Hmm

one day won't ruin everything. I promise. yes, there will be water weight, but it'll come back off in a few days. don't be afraid of food; it's our friend. :)

:) Just to be clear (in case) It's my first thanksgiving on mfp, I wasn't trying to be snarky, just genuinely wondered. But I read the other thread too. So I won't worry about it either, and just eat :)

Mini Pecan Pie. Calorie count, I'm thinking 500 could be a little more but I doubt it's less.

I'm probably at like 1500 and I have a fat brownie with walnuts right next to me. This should be an interesting day.

    Ooooooh, that looks gooooooood!

    6000 calories or bust.

And in spirit of my usual SOP- I'm going to have a max/min limit for myself.

I fully expect to be a minimum of 4000 calories- but I'd like to hit 6... because- what's the point of a challenge if you don't really apply yourself.

I know MrM is in and I think ndj1979 threatened as well.

why you ask? because- protein... brotein- I needs it.

Also- double bonus points if you use your food scale for accuracy... I MAY actually have to go buy a new one- since I left mine at home- and at the very least I'd love to know how much turkey I ate... because- science and all.

    Let the feasting begin!!!!

    Challenge Accepted! :D

Not sure how much I had. Pretty sure at least 3,000+ today. Started breakfast off with a whole Pumpkin Pie Talenti gelato & two ounces of brownie brittle. Had two plates filled high with ham, stuffing, homemade macaroni salad, & green beans for lunch.

Last Sunday I had two plates filled with two different stuffings, ham, a sweet stuffed pepper, a little turkey, & seven desserts (cheesecake, two slices of iced angel food cake, a sponge cake, two slices of another cake, & another homemade dessert).

Going to finish the day with another two diet Mountain Dews (to get me through working the crazy retail hours).

Woke up at 6am to put the 16 pound brisket on the smoker! It should be ready about 6pm. Football player son and volleyball/basketball daughter looking to put a hurtin' on that hunk o' beef!

I'll give it a go as well!
