Nov 25 - 5k run Today was also a random 14 degrees Celsius day, which is 57F, compared to what it normally is this time of the year. Normally it's -5C, which is around 23F.

@Remus42 Working 12hr nights is awful, but I have to say this for you. I'm really impressed at how you still ran & did strength training, plus you found time to go hiking with friends & go ice skating. You set a great example for all of us who think we're to busy to be active.

Today is day 20 without a rest day, 150 miles total, and have not jeopardized my training paces/workouts. Nailed my last race of the season and I'm very satisfied.
5 mile turkey trot in 31:24 (6:17 pace), beat my goal by 36 seconds, and racked up an unofficial 5K PR of 19:07. Doing an easy recovery run tonight for +3mi.

Was able to slip out after making breakfast and before I start dinner. Knocked out out 4 miles to get over the goal after being just short yesterday. )And to feel better about the apple pie and ice cream I'm looking forward to tonight.)

It was hot running yesterday afternoon and even hotter (unexpectedly) running this morning but I got in a good 6 miles. The pup is exhausted and I need to start cooking dinner. Certainly don't feel like turning on the oven! :grumble: I am so thankful though to be able to put a nice dinner on the table for my family!

Did the annual local turkey trot this morning with the family. Screwed up my corral placement, but beat my time from last year by 10 minutes (as weighing 40lb less helps). Should hit my monthly target with an 8 & 18 mile run again this weekend.
